BLOOD VICE is the first book of the same series and one that I think is perfect for those who like vampire series that aren't particularly dark or traumatizing. Detective Jenna Skye is investigating some human traffickers of innocent women (who turn out to be weregirls) when she's turned into a vampire and we deal with her somewhat comical attempts to keep her job. We have her ex-daytime soap opera identical twin sister, her ex-boyfriend who is the coroner, and a handsome FBI agent who is actually an agent of the House of Lilith. It's all very fun and perfect light urban fantasy reading.
