For those snarky teens who knew the Satanic Panic was ridiculous and fear xtian zealotry. I identified with this book a lot and enjoyed the main protagonist (wish I could have been friends with her when I was a teen….and her family was awesome!) There’s plenty of teen angst, along with queer rep and calling out discrimination against brown people via the best friend from Puerto Rico. At the end, the author shares her personal inspiration for the story.
