really liked it

All deaths are hard on us. I believe that. Even people who lack moral fiber or general human connection are bound to be haunted in some fashion. I might be wrong about that, but as a general statement, grieving is something I believe is part of being human. Suicide is a different form of torture. Questions are always lingering, and it feels like the what if’s are even heavier. I’m sorry for what the author has had to endure. The only thing I know about grief is my own, and I’ve learned two things: 1, it’s ok not to be ok, 2, grief will always be with me, but living eventually gets easier. I hope it gets easier for her too. This book definitely brought up some of my own, but grown is an old friend I now welcome back. It’s like the people I mourn have come back to visit with me. So for me, this book was a comfort.
