(I'm grateful for the second 5-star so soon! I liked to round up because of Cyrus & the emotions he roused in me. so yep!)

I enjoyed this one in a different way than book one. different dynamics.
I liked the slow flow of the story, the banters between characters.

I didn't quite like Kamran's struggle here, which was understandable of course, but made the story veryyyy slow, like nothing really happened to the plot at the end of chapters, but his scenes when he talked to someone & not just thinking to himself was funny. (I guess he's an INFJ, what do you think? it's kind of my hobby to guess the mbti of characters in books)
on the other hand, the story line at Alizeh's side, with Cyrus was interesting. I didn't think I would like him, but he was intriguing & when more of his character & motivations & past was revealed, I just couldn't not like him. also the constant counters & banters! good times.

again, I'm glad I gave this series a try.
