Such a good book! I have read a few books on Lincoln but never one incorporating his and Fredrick Douglas’ growing relationship with one another and their personal struggles/battles with helping bring about the end of slavery. Such an incredible time of change and turmoil. The time called for
Incredible people to rise to the occasion and thank God for both Lincoln and Douglas.
This book was the best book I have read so far this year. I rated it a 4 out of 5 because 5 would be a masterpiece which is very hard for me to pull the trigger on. I really rate this a 4.5
