** spoiler alert ** Quick summary: Too many POV’s (main issue was the unimportant characters, I.e. Lena- heck she was annoying) side quests, and the redundancy of “oh am I a zombie now, wait, maybe not”.

I really liked the first book, but this one was a stretch. Was not a fan of the violence on the animals (yes, sorry I cared more about their deaths than the human characters 🥲). Didn’t understand the need for the zombie orgy either. It added nothing to the story. Found myself trying to just read to get through it. And now I get the unfortunate task of reading the third one.
