I originally gave this book 5 stars but the more I think about it, there were a few things that bothered me. This book was a nice ending to the series but may have been a little too nice. I did like how it went more in depth with how Caleb and Livvie got to the place they did, it was nice to see them in a normal setting. They both put in the effort to change and you could see how much they loved each other. I loved seeing everything from Caleb's eyes, what he was thinking, how he was feeling. There was so much more to his personality than we got in the first two books. My only issue with this book is I felt Caleb changed a little too much, it was like he was a different person. I couldn't reconcile the Caleb in this book with the one in the other books. It did show him having some minor struggles but given his background, it seemed just a little to nice and fluffy. I guess I expected this book to be a bit darker. I was happy for Caleb and Livvie but it seemed just a little too easy. Even though this book wasn't exactly what I expected, I still enjoyed it and I loved the series overall.
