I think I am over arranged marriage books.

Katria was an interesting character and I really liked her obsession with her horse. She had a slightly mysterious backstory because of her mother as well as a built out past because of her new family.
Sadly the entire romance story of this book wasn't for me and by that I mean I felt no connection nor love.

Lord Fenwood and Katria were great at teasing each other and I really enjoyed those little bantering scenes but Katria went from 0-100 in 2 seconds.
I mean don't get me wrong go fall in love with him but why? He was a petty little child would would probably cry if he had one less chicken nugget than you.

I get that the Lord was mysterious in the beginning and why but some of the rules made no sense to me and created plot holes. Like why was she not allowed to do some of these things? We never find out but okay.

Then the ritual scene was obviously an important scene and I get why but then again, after that I disliked the Lord because he turned into a petty child.
I was way more interested in the side characters than the mc's because I thought people like Ralph as well as Vina and the other fae had way more personalities than the others.

I also am not very happy with the plot twists in the end. I feel like one of them was very obvious and would have been way more interesting if it had been somebody else and the second one, THAT I DID NOT GUESS, was good but made me a bit confused in the end because of this beautiful thing called FAMILY RELATIONS.

Overall this is okay to bad for me but if you like fae stories you might like this I think I just am not that much into faes.
