Boy, things are getting mid in here. I told myself if there was a r*pe scene in this book I would shelve smut for the rest of my life. It didn't happen, but it got close, which has sort of turned me off from the series ngl. Yes, I was yelling from the rooftops, FINALLY YAKUZA SMUT!!!!!! but now i'm like, oh yeah, I guess our main girly is going to get kidnapped and junk all the time, while the book I actually want is shopping and eat ice cream but it's tough because he's a hArDenEd YaKuZa mAn.
I liked book one because it was an unlikely pairing that went through some difficulty deciding if they were going to act on their feelings and passion, but it's sort of maxed out way too early, and now girly is waiting up all night for her Yakuza boyfriend to come back from his gun battle and tuck her in at night...wah.
Looks like it's The Way Of the House Husband fan fic for me lads.
