I can always trust Karla Sorensen books to be a great read for me. She writes smart females, all the feels, and great steamy scenes.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 is a great read with ALL of those things. Lydia is an Internet Influencer whose fame has risen to the point where she is hounded by paparazzi. After an accident leves Lydia shaken and experiencing Anxiety Attacks, she needs a bodyguard. Enter super-grumpy, former Pro Football player, Erik. The Grumpy + Sunshine in this book is perfection! I love Erik and his grumpy ass.

These two have a bit of an age difference (hello, forbidden love!) and the chemistry and the sizzle is palpable. I loved this relationship. So swoony!

Erik's overbearing family is a delight in this book, even his jerky brother. You will fall in love with the entire clan. This book is a slow burn (which I love), but the second half got a bit too slow for me. The love story stalled a bit, which is why I removed a star. But 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 is absolutely great and you should definitely add it to your TBR.
