Lisa Jewell is always very "readable". However, I could have done without the triple timeline. I had to read the last chapter 3 times and try to remember everything that had happened before so that it all made sense. (And actually, some of it didn't.)

I also do not understand AT ALL why the book opens with the definition of Arachnophobia. It gets mentioned once again VERY BRIEFLY in the body of the book, and is not meaningful to the story in any way, shape or form.
