This book was really good, and I could totally see if in the future where the thought of living on the ocean floor was a possibility, it would be a lot like that. It all seems so logical that living at the bottom of the sea would do that to a child's developing brain and then that in turn would give them abilities that it almost seems scary that it could really happen. And the world that Falls described was so vivid and beautiful, I really wouldn't mind living there.
The characters were great, Ty and Gemma were relatable and at the end my heart broke for Gemma and everything she went through and not have the happy ending she wanted. Although a little predictable, but I still it was a great story, great plot and I really enjoyed it and want to read the sequel.
