What a story of courage and determination.
Plus, it was beautifully written and edited. This is the story of a young woman who was able to leave the horrible conditions she was raised in and, along with her young daughter, established a much happier and mentally healthier life for them in Bristol just at the beginning of WWII in Bristol, England. The next 5 years of their lives was fascinating reading and the ending perfect. Don’t miss this one!
