I gave this two stars as well. I tried to re-read one in this series that I had given five stars. Idk what I was thinking. 🤣🙈

@D.L. Howe Omg, for some reason it's my goal to get through this series???? I've giving the author the benefit of the doubt since it's the first book in the series 😭😭😭
Honestly it’s been so long but her Arcana series, if I remember correctly is better. It’s also darker but I think it’s YA so if there’s sex it isn’t graphic.
I remember giving this a two when I first read it too. I seem to recall that the hero was a huge asshole.
lmao - well at least this book is nothing if not consistent.
