Soul of the Fire (Sword of Truth, #5)

All that comes to mind is Daft Punk's "One More Time" because news flash Terry Goodkind did it one more time.
I don't understand what it is that people dislike and at this point I don't care to find out - Terry Goodkind's writing is unquestionably superior to so many others I have read and has zero stupid cliche lines or predictable plot twists. None, not one.
Badass characters of both genders are everywhere and instead of being force fed and told about awesome they are, or have them be snarky and give them ancient baggage to excuse them for being assholes because that's all anybody writes these days, Terry Goodkind is actually able to create entire cultures for them, amazing plots and true personalities that are each unique in their own way.
This series still remains epic to me.
This volume was slower and took place in a shorter amount of time than the others. It had a natural progression to its story and I appreciated that it wasn't as large as its previous siblings - made it easier to read.
As always I really loved the new characters that were introduced and made for this book as well as the new civilization we got to explore.
Slowly but surely Richard is learning more about his magic and while I am curious about it, it would be a lie to say that I don't wish he would learn faster? I wanna see him do things!
Dalton was the main newbie here and I have to admit I did think his last chapter was a bit anticlimactic - unless there is more of him in which case bring it!
I have already ordered the next book and cant w8 for all them to reunite.
As always my question remains....WHERE IS NATHAN???? I ask this so often it could be drinking game.
Terry Goodkind thank you!
