I think I'm going to have to sit with this book for a bit before I rate it. On the one hand, I adore Hunter and Demi's friendship and their sloooooow slide to a relationship. On the other, some of the details of this book frustrated me and feel.... off, somehow.

I WAS RIGHT. This is officially Hunter's book (announced on Elle's IG).

It's definitely not about Rupi (or Hazel). Elle has said we've never met the girl in The Play. It's someone new.

My best guess is that the guy in this book will be Hunter Davenport (the freshman Dean works with in The Score/Fitzy and Summer's roommate in The Chase) or Brooks Weston (Summer's friend from prep school mentioned in The Chase/Jake Connolly's roommate in The Risk). I am leaning toward Hunter based on nothing but a hunch and possibly the tagline. I could be wrong, and I'm cool with that.

I'm only about 20% into The Risk, but I already know I want this one, and I am DYING to know who our main characters will be (I have some ideas...)!!

How do you have the risk???? Does it not get released in Feb 18?? What is this sorcery?

I am too young to read this book right now. But I hope to read it when I get older.
I hope Brooks Weston. Just finished the risk. So good!
As much as i love Hunter and Brooks, i kind of hope the next book is about Rupi and Hollis. They just too adorable in The Risk! I want the full story about them! But i want Brooks and Hunter's book too! And from the tagline it's leading on either Hunter or Brooks.

Also, I don't think the tagline makes sense for them. I wouldn't describe Rupi as a player.

I love Elle's series, but I don't need every secondary character to get a book. Elle stated in her instagram stories a few days ago (maybe last week?) that right now, there are only 3 Briar U books planned and that we haven't met the girl in The Play. That means it's neither Hazel nor Aisha.
