CAN I JUST SAYYYYY....
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU JAMES HERONDALE???!!
Since I don't want to give spoilers, I will not say anything more about that.
But otherwise, WOW Cassie. I am glad you took your time with this one.
I have a huge crush on every Herondale that has existed (Even Kit) and I was looking forward to getting to know James. Besides all that bullshit about *cough cough*, I am really impressed with him. He's like a mini Will, and the chief of Merry Thieves. Speaking of the group, I absolutely loved the dynamic between all of the members of this adorable squad. Matthew was my favorite side character in this book, hands down! Followed by Anna FREAKING Lightwood and Lucie Herondale. I really wish to see more of Lucie and James' relationship, I feel like Clare could definitely dive deeper with that. Of course, when it comes to the parabatai bond, no one can top Will and Jem, but James and Matthew followed close behind. I also don't think Lucie and Cordelia should become parabatais, considering how much Lucie forgets about the latter's injuries. (jk, i am willing it give her the benefit of the doubt)
Cordelia was so far the best female protagonist in the entire Shadowhunter world. She started off a little wobbly for me, but it got gooooood. Loved her so much! She is something I want to be in real life! And that doesnt happen to me often. So, I will leave it at that and let you explore this marvelous girl's life and live all the gorgeous adventures of this beauty named CORDELIA CARSTAIRS!
The streets of London, MY DARLING JEM, and all the Will and Tessa content!!!
Seriously, read this book right now. It kept me up at night, that's just one of the things Cassandra Clare's writing does to me.
ALSO, CAN I PLEASE HAVE THE SECOND BOOK ASAP? PLEASE? THANK YOU!!
