did not like it

Also on my bookshelf is a review of Tolle's THE NEW EARTH. I read it because of the recommendation from Oprah. In that review I said he used 300 pages to say what he could have said in a 10 page essay. I read this book because someone I know said it was great. I think it's just another bunch of psycho-babble bullshit this rich con-man threw together. Really people....if you have issues, go get help without throwing your money away on this kind of crap. No, I did not buy it....the book is a loaner that I will eagerly return.

The message in both books, in my opinion is exactly the same...live for today. This guy is good at taking a cliche, wording it 43 different ways and calling it a book.

Back in the mid-1960's....a group called 'The Grass Roots' said Live for Today in about three minutes. Great song...download it....Michael

Anatoliy Obraztsov I said he used 300 pages to say what he could have said in a 10 page essay!!!! AGREE!! FULLY AGREE! And because of this I rated it 3! I think the author more thought about volume than about plot. About this subject I recommend to read "a crossing or the drop's history" by Anatoliy Obraztsov. Very insirational book too but has more useful information and normal volume!

message 7: by Lisa (new) - rated it 1 star

Lisa Jones i so agree with you--that's EXACTLY what it is. A play on words lol..all he's doing is saying the same BS over and over in different phrases and people call it spiritual. He is an idiot and a shill..something is wrong with people out there. People are brainwashed puppets to find this even remotely interesting.
look at what joe lumpkin said..lol you are not enlightened tolle is..omg are you serious?

message 8: by Cora (new) - rated it 1 star

Cora I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this book was horrible. Since I paid for it, I feel like I need to finish it, but it's painful.

message 10: by Netlin (new)

Netlin There is another book on similar topic. Book name is: "A Timeline of Wandering Thoughts" by Shakeel Ahmed Shah. I request you to read preview of that book on Amazon kdp and review.6

message 11: by Sean (new) - rated it 4 stars

Sean O'Hara Lol " go get help without throwing your money away on this kind of crap. " Yeah go spend $225 per session on therapy instead of reading a book that helps you deal with your own anxiety.

Alexandra Oprah is WOKE that's why she recommended it! You simply can't understand this book if you've never read about spirituality in your life, lol.

message 13: by Sada (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sada Ling This is one of many shill reviews. Globalists don't want people to be enlightened, so they attempt to scare people away from wisdom and the means to liberate themselves.
