This is one such book, that a reader needs to go and make their understanding for it. Reading reviews of others won't matter much. It is a slow pace, repetitive yet the understanding of what mental illness is like (yes, it is repetition of same emotions again and again).

I liked it because no I wasn't expecting real Turtle in the books (like many did when it first came out), I before hand knew it is about Mental illness, and I am familiar with these kind of books that reader may feel are repetitive, but it's just the thought of person who is ill. I loved how the Title actually is referred in the story and how a mythological story is weaved around it.

I would surely recommend it to people, to read and make your own opinion and not going for someone else. because this one surely is based on how individual takes the mental state...
