One of those dual timeline books where I, unfortunately, end up being deeply uninterested in one of the timelines. Like, 4 stars for the bits in the past, maybe 1.5 for the bits in the present. I was so into Anna's story, but the present storyline was ugh. I just really did not like Rob; if that storyline had been Nicola figuring things out on her own I would have liked it a lot more, but I found Rob and his all-knowingness too creepy.
