** spoiler alert ** This is one of the greatest books I have ever read. It has power and emotion, I really was able to connect with the characters. It was beautifully written. Tommy's death left me in tears. Katy's boringness yet beautifulness and emotion in her words and thoughts, really makes the story. Ruth is wonderfully stubborn and she has a sad tone to her. This book really makes you think.
