One of my favourite books of all time. It's a beautiful reminder of the spirit of Christmas, what the holiday represents and how we can be more kind and mindful of our actions.

Eszter I've just finished this and I was honestly quite disappointed... I think the message to be great and important but I don't like the idea of the ghosts haunting Scrooge and I also disliked how little his change was described. I felt it was quite rushed and it was clear, from the very beginning of the first ghost arriving that he would change his mind and become a better person.

Toni 🩵 I read this on Christmas Eve! I make it a tradition to read it every year, and afterwards reflect, and be thankful for what I have

Samantha (Bookwyrmsam) This is one of my absolute favorites but I didn't have time to re-read it in the days leading up to Christmas! I'm hoping to squeeze it in before New Years because it is rather short and I love it!

Wiki I have an English mock which will be on A Christmas Carol when I go back to school so this Christmas is a perfect time to read it 🥰

message 5: by Roe (new) - rated it 5 stars

Roe I read it before and after Xmas, but its rare that it will be read past Christmas. I like reflecting on the stuff I have because if we still lived back in the time of Scrooge, I'd probably wouldn't have the things that I have now.

Jason I just finished it myself, having been gifted a physical copy for Christmas. Fantastic read!
