The bright, beautiful fish of the Great Barrier Reef are shown in all of their brilliant detail in Finding Nemo. There is no lack of colorful detail, all of which draws the reader further into the story. Nemo's journey away from home and determination to return is a theme that young readers will enjoy and relate to. The theme of home is apparent for young readers as they too can surely think of a time they missed home. Knowing your family is always out there for you is a comforting message that all readers can take away from Finding Nemo.
