From her lovely covers, to her fascinating plots, to her adorable characters, and her fun and exciting romantic moments, I feel like it's Christmas morning whenever I get to read a new story by her.
Ashlee has had an unrequited crush on her older brother's best friend forever. This girl is spunky, sassy, darling, and a magnet for trouble. I love how she's not shy about her feelings, yet she's not a stalker and overbearing. She's larger than life and I love her flirtatious little encounters with Beau. Speaking of Beau, his shy and awkward reactions to Ashlee is purely entertaining and endearing. It's amazing how a big, bad Army guy can bumble so much around this beauty. The chemistry that smolders and simmers with every encounter almost set my Kindle on fire! The situations that arise are comical, yet believable and So. Much. Fun!
Anderson captures the Southern charm and swoon-worthy relationships in a very delightful and fun way. I laugh; I sigh; I swoon. I honestly can't flip the pages fast enough and find myself completely immersed in the book, not wanting it to ever end because it's so darling and romantic. I've loved this series, with each book telling the story of one member of this enthralling family. This is one series that clean romance lovers won't want to miss!

The books in this series can stand alone and they're all worth reading.
Jillian, or Jilly, is a lawyer and that's one profession that I don't think I could ever do, yet she's good at it. Her teenage client, Ryker, is a Hollywood star and I must say, at first I was expecting Justin Bieber, but what I got was one hilarious and quirky character that kept me on my toes, rolling my eyes, and laughing at loud.
Is it possible for a teenager to be a matchmaker? Ryker is definitely trying hard to get two of his favorite people together and his reason for it melted my heart. Aero is a great character and the yang to Jilly's ying. They're each so strong and there's no hesitation at all in their actions, yet they complement each other so well. I love characters who know who they are and aren't afraid to be true to themselves.
I love the way the author incorporates art and legalese into a story about following dreams, discovering deep down hopes, and finding passion, all while set in California. There's an almost nostalgic, throw-back feel to the setting that really drew me in. I can feel that sunshine on my face, smell the sunscreen in the air, and feel that ocean breeze drifting through my hair.

I feel like I'm experiencing Donna Hatch is on my favorite author list because she has a way of transporting me right into the Regency era with ease. I feel like I'm experiencing a season and always feel an interest in the characters that she writes about. This story is a companion, of sorts, to Courting the Countess, but it can stand alone.
Tristan is a womanizer for sure. Heck, I couldn't help falling for his smooth talking ways and charming personality. I could even imagine his swoony, good looks. And I must say, I was quite impressed with Leticia. In her quest for happiness and marriage, she isn't one to let disappointment come between her and her friend. She can also handle Tristan, which is quite a feat.
Can people really change? In a book with a dashing hero, dangerous undertones, lovable characters, swoony romance, and more, I couldn't read fast enough to find out. I love the time of realization and clarity, the stolen and tender moments, and the determination to go after desires and dreams. I adored pretty much everything about this book and hope there's more to the story with some of these characters!
Content: mild romance (innuendo, implications of affairs); mild violence.

I don't know about anyone else, but my life has NOT gone exactly as I had planned. There are things that I regret, but nothing like what Melanie and I don't know about anyone else, but my life has NOT gone exactly as I had planned. There are things that I regret, but nothing like what Melanie and Declan feel remorse over. Feeling too young at 18 and dealing with some misunderstandings, they broke off their relationship and now, years later, they have a second chance at love. Sometimes the timing is just off the first time around and I love it when a couple gets another try.
Declan and Mel have an imperceptible thread binding them together and causing an unquestionable chemistry to ignite even after years apart. I absolutely love their bond and how their romance caused me to swoon, especially with how Declan treats and accepts Mel. I love these characters and thought her twin best friends were hilarious.
Of course, I always want more, especially with books from this author, but I was pleasantly surprised at how satisfying this one is for being so short. I think because they're told in first person, I feel like I'm a character in the book and I don't want to leave and I really didn't want to leave Indigo Bay. I'm so happy there are more books set in this darling town.
Grab a tissue and settle in for a charming, adorably heartwarming second chance romance! Ms. Peel will capture your heart and soul and thrust you right into the book. Don't tell, but I think I'm Mel's invisible best friend.
Content: mild+ romance (swoony kissing, vague talk of cheating)

It was fun to see some side characters from previous books come to life in this one. I must get back to a beach to experience what came to life for me in this setting.
Moriah is such a fun, sassy character! I loved her in The Faithful One and adored getting to know her even better in this story. I feel like a dancer trapped in a klutzy body, but Moriah lets her dancing come out--all of the time. She's my opposite, as she's outgoing, spunky, and plays hard to get. But she's fiercely loyal to her young son and that plants her character right in the middle of my heart. Jace is too good-looking for his own good, but he's not cocky at all. I love the way he treats Moriah and Turk right from the start and that rooted him to my heart. Nothing is better than a kind, generous man who loves kids.
I love that each character is dealing with issues from past relationships and their strengths unknowingly help each other work through these problems. I also love that these characters, although supernaturally gorgeous, are flawed.
This author is strong in romantic suspense and I thought for a minute the suspense would be absent from this one. Fortunately, it showed up and as always, she does a great job of weaving it in. I am one happy reader because I got to sit back and enjoy this swoony story, escaping to a tropical paradise for a time.

I'm looking forward to reading morThis author is a favorite deliverer of a good, sweet, clean romance and this start to a new series is no exception. I'm looking forward to reading more about the characters in Indigo Bay, especially as each book is written by a different author. That always adds some flavor to the setting.
In this one, Book One, Sky and Jace each have some emotional baggage to finally put to rest. I love their occupations, as well as the animals and the relationship that Sky forges with Claire--so sweet! There's the stereotypical small town gossip and bully characters, but there are also some great, quirky characters. This couple is hesitant to fall in love again, yet who can resist charm and chemistry? Don't worry--there's plenty of both. The romance happens fairly quickly, but is utterly believable with swoony sparks that forced me to cheer them on.
The story went by really fast for me and followed a standard formula, yet there are a few twists to make it unique. What is it about miscommunication? That right there is a driving force to the drama and conflict. Although it's not a long book, it's balanced and felt complete. I adore this fictional small town and I'm already looking forward to revisiting.

Sarah has always had a crush Isn't it said that hate and love are closely related feelings? Sarah and Ben have a past that goes back to Kindergarten. Sarah has always had a crush from afar, but Ben seems to tease her and compete with her way too much for her liking. When they both "compete" on a quest to get her best friend's lucky wedding charm before the big day, they're both surprised at how close those two feelings are.
The trickery, quick thinking, and working together, along with a stray dog, Moose, really bring these two to full realization of their feelings. While posing as their friends, the lines are blurred and I couldn't help but smile and laugh at the antics that Ben and Sarah go through. I love the quests they have to complete and how far-fetched some of them seemed. All of them ended up really making me laugh. I also loved the descriptions of Atlanta and the Southern charm. I love the lengths these two go to for their friends--what loyalty. Even though it seems to be full of games, this story brings in a realistic and serious note towards the end, when Sarah is challenged by a friend to keep a promise. Of course, it all results in swoon.
There's something about weddings that really puts the feeling of love into the air and I'm so excited for this whole series!

There were a fWho would ever think that a dog could bring two people together? In this story of pretending and forgiveness, that's just what happens. There were a few things said that made me feel like this is a modern Cinderella story. I absolutely loved this book!!
I love that this author writes so many of her characters as runners. I've picked it up in the last two years and I've been chased down by dogs before too. Brikelle's fear is realistic, especially since she has a very good reason for it. I love Ike (the dog) and how he knows a good thing when he sees it.
The first meeting after the dog incident immediately had me smiling and swooning. And it didn't stop there. This story is full of palpable chemistry that had me longing for the days when my husband and I were first dating. Every girl wants to be loved and loved well and Colt does a fantastic job of making Brikelle feel his passion and desire. Of course, true to her style, Ms. Checketts keeps the romance spicy, yet clean--no moral boundaries are crossed.
There are so many situations that had me laughing--from boating with the brothers, to fighting at work, to a weekend house party. A twist took me off guard, but gave the story a depth that led the characters to probe their inner feelings.
Content: mild violence (talk of dog attack); mild-moderate romance (spicy clean kissing, some innuendo, talk of desire but wanting to wait for marriage)....more

ThiI read a lot and there's not a lot more that causes me to hunker down and laugh, smile, and sigh than fabulous witty banter and a chase, of sorts. This is one that had me captured from the first mistake to the final page. And there are a few different definitions of the word pursuit, just so you know.
Christopher is a pretty clueless "gentleman," although if you were to ask Harriett, a gentleman he most definitely is not. He's a big tease and whether it's conscious or not, he pushes buttons better than a curious toddler. A former war general, he's good at strategy and is determined to employ some of these tactics with this feisty, intriguing, beautiful lady. On the other hand, Harriett is determined to drive this man mad with her sarcasm, tricks, and annoying behavior. The results are hilarious and I loved every minute of their interactions and banter.
Anderson is an author who can really engage a reader with her unique characters and situations. The characters become life-like and seem like dear friends and the events that occur are very interesting and entertaining. I know I'll never feel like I just wasted a few precious hours when I'm able to dive into one of her books and I always look forward to a new release. I absolutely adored this story and didn't want it to end--I loved it!

Gina Graydon loves books (as do I) and goes as far as sneaking over the balcony of her French hotel room to devour her beloved romance books in a beautiful garden. She's got a very vivid imagination and almost seems to conjure up the most deliciously handsome and romantic hero. Edmund is captivated by this tall beauty and an almost Romeo and Juliet romance ensues.
This is such a delightful story that kept me with a silly grin plastered on my face. The characters are refreshingly life-like and humorous, making the most of events they find themselves in. My heart was swooning during the waltz and the stolen moments in the moonlit garden. The ending left me elated and sighing with satisfaction. Perfection. Yes, this morsel of a story is a pure, guilty pleasurable taste of romantic perfection.

Summer's world crumbles when her dad sells their family business and she loses her job (and designs) as a toy designer. While taking some time to save up some money and figure out her next step, she is literally run over by Chance--and what a chance meeting that is! This Channing Tatum look-alike tries hard to sweep her off her feet, while figuring out how to tell her the truth about who he is.
Channing...I mean, Chance...is dreamy, sweet, persistent and most girls' ideal. He's got swag, confidence, the looks, money, and manners. Summer is full of spunk--the more she teases and pushes him away, the more he chases her. I love that he has to work hard for what he wants. The chemistry between Chance and Summer sizzles right off the pages like ice melting on a hot day. It's super swoony and volatile, while still staying clean. Those kisses...I'm still fanning myself...
This story isn't all about the romance though. The setting is spectacular and has me longing for summer days, as it's very descriptive. The way the story plays out is interesting, as well as how the truth is discovered. I love realistic reactions to different situations and this one really delivers. This book is a perfect escape for a wintery day!

And believe me, there's plenty of action--on the ranch, on the trail, and in the heart.
Jack is a bounty hunter and is posing as a wrangler on a dude ranch to try and catch his prey. With his jagged scar, handsome and rugged good looks, and swagger, he's a force to be reckoned with. Dani has a past that must stay hidden at all costs, yet she can't stop the growing attraction she feels towards Jack.
I love the way that Jack and Dani first meet--the sass, confidence, and stubbornness shines through and had me smiling and immediately crossing my fingers that they would get together. They are both super tough on the outside but marshmallows on the inside, and that combination sets up a fantastic romantic tension. There are events that occur as the story progresses that would have me in a melted puddle on the floor from all the stress, but these characters jump right in with their bravery and determination to figure things out. I love the way they learn to work together to solve the mysteries on the ranch and to resolve their pasts. The underlying chemistry is undeniable and so swoony--the harder they try to deny themselves the pleasures of love, the more the flames ignite. It's like trying to put out a grease fire with water.
This is a great story for those who enjoy contemporary Westerns with a good dose of mystery and suspense. I was engaged throughout the entire book and I was literally prying my eyelids open to finish the thing before falling asleep because I absolutely could not wait until morning. The story also gave me a nostalgic feeling--back to a time when men were tough but sweet gentlemen and made me long to live on a ranch in Colorado because of the vivid setting. This is the start to what's sure to be a fabulous new series!
