I laughed, I cried, and just felt so immersed in this world I even had a dream about it.
While this was a great concluding book I did love the first just a smidge more based on the Kejari. Regardless the same wonderful characters, plot that had me flipping through the pages (or should I say clicking cause it was an ebook lol), and a romance that got me.
Overall, will be checking out the rest of the books in this world since it’s already set up for us to follow a secondary character I very much will love seeing more of but truly enjoyed experiencing these two books as a duo.

Seriously, loved this book! Having read the first and throughly enjoying it the ending had me anticipating the dynamic that was set up in this story. Ryan and Indy's romance was so special. In the first book, I really liked these characters but this book had me loving them.
Indy is a character I really felt for, as someone that is definitely a lover with everyone she cares for it was so wonderful seeing her thrive throughout the story. Even though she's been hurt and at times it ended up being her own worse enemy it was really nice seeing someone I related too on that level. Then we have Ryan who was such an amazing character as well. From his actions to his words and learning throughout the story why and how his is and who he becomes for the person he loves like where can I find a man like him in real life!
Their connection wasn't perfect but that's what made it so honest. They were able to overcome things and come together to truly love one another. As readers we get told by our characters in romance books that they love one another but in this story I really felt that love. Also, with the first book being Zee and Stevie's story I found it extra special getting to see their relationship thrive in this book as well!
Overall, Liz Tomforde, has a really wonderful way of bringing our characters together that feels so right. While we had tropes such as fake dating it's done so well that doesn't make it feel repetitive to others I've read. The first book in the series I found a little dragged out (still gave it 4.5 stars) but this I did not feel that way about whatsoever.
Looking forward to the next in the series since it's single dad baseball player and nanny. We love our sporty romances here!!...more

I really enjoyed this romance book, felt at some points it dragged a little but the chemistry between the characters to getting to learn overtime about our main characters was really enjoyable. Also love the doggies, love how it had that hate vibe as well as forbidden with Stevie's work situation, and finally seeing Zanders being an advocate for mental health as well as being the best Uncle Zee!
While I enjoyed the first in the Sinful Wallflowers series, I am even more surprised by how addictive this second one was. I highly recommend5/5 stars
While I enjoyed the first in the Sinful Wallflowers series, I am even more surprised by how addictive this second one was. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a slow burn historical romance.
I loved our characters and as the story progresses I enjoyed getting to learn about them individually as well as through their relationship. They really do come off the pages and even when I wasn't reading this book these characters were on my mind. I was immensely invested in the plot and THE ROMANCE.
My goodness, I have said it again but I will be preaching it to the anyone willing to listen. Stacy Reid can write chemistry and she can write her smut. She has a way of making her romances, centric on the characters and learning of them without it feeling overdone or repetitive. She has a unique way of approaching the story that allows enough of a build up before further bringing you into the story. Plus the development feels real. The circling of our characters with one another is pure entertainment I could read for hours, which I did, and cannot wait to reread time and time again!!
I cannot express how much I enjoyed this story! Truly cannot wait for not only more in this companion series but more from Stacy Reid herself.

I've been wanting to get into more Historical Fiction romances and I am happy to say I really enjoyed this one!
The characters I loved getting to learn more about and drives you to continue on to see what happens next with them. Also my goodness can she write some romance! The characters chemistry was great and I just loved how they ended up being with one another. Stacy Reid is able to write in a way that allows readers a way of seeing the world as if they were there with the characters themselves. With that the pacing is slower which is why it wasn’t perfect for me. I think because it first drew me in with the plan our main character had but once we get past that point I found it to drag just a little before things picked back up once our characters actually meet in real life.
Overall, highly recommend if you are wanting a friends to lovers relationship with lots of angst and a slow burn romance alongside a Beauty/Beast element. ...more
This entire trilogy was addictive. I became invested in the plot alongside the characters whether main or side.

My favorite thing has to be the different elements and layers the story has as it spans the 3 books. It was entertaining at times, made me laugh so hard it even surprised me, had me sobbing over a mutual feeling of grief, and had me up into the late hours of the night just to see what was going to happen next. I was able to dig deep into a story when in reality I have not truly been able to for awhile.
This came into my life at such the right time. ...more

I cannot believe this is Tracy Deonn's debut novel! The way she not only thought but executed such a unique well developed concept speaks volumes on her talents. While so many things I adored about this story including our vast cast of characters, the development of their relationships, and the plot that had me on the edge of my seat. I found other elements such as her magic system, plot twist (which was so well done it not only shocked me but made so much sense in the plot), and her seamless yet effective commentary regarding racism and colonization to really stand out.
I've been seeing many people add this to their TBR and this is one of those books I will not be able to stop thinking about. One where I can imagine so many people adoring the story as there is so much to love in this book. Not only of my favorites of this year but the one that took me the most off guard with how much I was invested into it!
Cannot recommend this enough!

I have been struggling to finish a sentence from a book let alone an actual book for weeks so the fact I read this so quickly definitely speaks volumes on how easy and quick you become invested into it. While this is Denise Williams debut, she does an amazing job giving such life to our main female protagonist, Naya. As the story begins we are introduced to Naya learning to try to find herself and how to flirt again after surviving an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. As the story progresses readers see the shift in Naya's growth alongside the development of other factors such as romance and plot events.
I loved how this story had the tender moments, along with the banter filled funny ones, and the impactful thought provoking ones. What a great Adult Romance Debut!!
TW: on-page racism, memories and on-page incidences of intimate partner violence that includes physical abuse, emotional abuse, gaslighting, digital harassment/revenge porn, and professional shaming.

Trilogy Video Review: Coming Soon
WOW i’m not going to lie to actually be done with one of my all time favorite series is bizarre. I felt I was so ready for this book until it was out and I was hesitate to let these characters and world go.
I have to say this final book was unexpected and specifically my feelings regarding it. I’m going to be talking about it more in my trilogy review of this series since I have so much to say but OVERALL, I highly recommend this trilogy. From Zera, a character I not only related too but loved from her whitty remarks to her vulnerable moments. To the side characters, plot, and fantastical elements.
This series will always have a special place in my heart...more

Southern Sagittarius aka K. Elizabeth recommended me this book on Twitter and I fell in love.
Such an enjoyable and sweet contemporary. At first the plot wasn't as driving as I think I was initially expecting but it let us as readers get to really learn the characters first and see who they truly are making the plot more emotionally impacted! I loved it, Sierra Abrams is such an amazing writer, WOW!!...more

So many factors stood out to me. From the romance, to the characters background stories, to the way they think, and even how they interact. I loved it all.
The insta lust worked in some way for me. Although insta love is a 99% annoyance factor for me, insta lust isn’t to that level for me but it definitely isn’t something I absolutely loved. But I appreciate the overall development of the romance between are two main characters since it was realistic with what was going on currently to them and what happened to them in the past that still affects them in the present.
The family dynamic aspects from all different sides was really nice to see. The author showed the distress and beauty of a family from all different aspects.
So many parts made me laugh, so many parts made me feel for these characters, and some parts even had me teared up.
I could see myself in our main protagonists with how she thought and acted. I just felt for her. Also loved her job dynamic, really beautiful to see how passionate she is and how much she cares about her patients.
Overall, I enjoyed this NA immensely and flew through it. Definitely recommend!!...more

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING. It was so refreshing to read something that had me this excited to see what was going to happen next. Although I didn’t love Sara Wolf’s contemporary, this blew me out of the water. From the fantastical elements, to the characters, to the characters that stole my heart; I throughly enjoyed seeing what was going to happen next. I was completely hooked. I have so much to say that I can’t wait to discuss in my book review!
One of my favorite books I’ve not only read in a long time but my one of my favorite books I have read this year. Wow.
