OKK i was not expecting this to be that good, totally exceeded my expectations. my issue after reading book 1 & 2 was that the romance felt very insta-love and lusty, it was definitely not my vibe and as a fantasy ROMANCE book i was expecting a lot more. however, i did enjoy the overall characters and the great world building, which is why i continued with the series. nonetheless, fate & furies really surprised me because i enjoyed every second of it. the romance was 10x more better, way more chemistry and more angst between thea and wilder. i absolutely ate all their scenes together, and the time apart they had really showcased how deeply they love each other imo. the bantering was top-notch with all of these characters, and we get to meet even newer ones and formed more bonds. coming into this with low-expectations but ended up loving it sm !!

i wish i was more of a better mindset when i read this because i feel like i would’ve enjoyed it more. i had hopes to love it since there’s so many good reviews for this book. i never found the characters, plot, and world-building interesting and couldn’t care less. it was solid in the romance but none of it really captivated me. so unfortunate because i wanted to love this once, especially with a nice premise.

the only reason i am sticking to this series is because i love the world building and found family, that’s really all i care about. thea and wilder were just so annoying to me, i hate miscommunication and i felt like it was majority of this book. this also made me realize that i don’t like that many spicy scenes in a fantasy, i just want the slow burn and yearning, but thea and wilder are none of that. i just felt like their relationship feels insta love to me. however, that ending i was not expecting at all which gave me hope for the next 2 books.

a cute cozy fantasy romcom with fae and steamy rivals to lovers !! this was so fun to read, edwina and williams banter was soo good. i loved the beginning, but as i got closer to the end it started to fall off for me that at some point i got bored of them and the overall plot.. majority of the book it didn’t feel like they were truly rivals and i was hoping we could’ve gotten more of that. despite my small issues with it, i enjoyed it till the end and i absolutely need daphne and monty’s book especially with that epilogue…

THE LONGING THE SLOW BURN oh this romance was just so cute i desperately need them to kiss already !!! it was so fun and enjoyable to read, many cute moments btw damien and amma (the bantering was so good) and funny ones as well. the little side quests that they would do were so fun, i would get bored at times but this world is so interesting and unique. im so excited to read the rest of this trilogy, i need their HEA !!

i was lucky enough to have received the arc for one of my most anticipated releases this year. as soon as i had the time i immediately picked this up !! a reign of rose started off really good, i was so intrigued and invested bc after the ending of book 2 i needed to know what would happen. i’ve always loved the easy world-building and plot with this, however towards the middle i felt like it was falling off and i couldn’t really care much about what was going on. truly what carried this book for me was mari and griffin scenes we were getting. the ending and plottwist were easily predictable, but i still enjoyed how the overall stories and characters ended. i feel it also leaves you wanting to know more about this world and some of the characters we met which i liked. (i need more of mari and griffin asap).

this was such a fun read, so much happened and it was fast paced; youre never truly bored with this book. the world-building was unique and i especially loved waterfalls falling from the sky !! i loved the found family that we had with our 4 characters and the romance btw atia and silas was so cute. in the beginning i felt like i wasn’t getting much from atia’s character so she felt bland to me, but as we get to know more of each character their bond continues to grow and i loved that !!
