I'm conflicted. I love Ally Carter. I really liked the storyline and many of the characters in this book. however, I had a hard time liking Grace. I understand why she is the way she is, but that doesn't make it fun to read about her. most of the time I wanted to shake her and tell her to stop being so illogical. She was better in the 2nd half and I love the mystery aspect of it. the ending was also great. hopefully the next book will have Grace being a little more sane and using her brain....more

At first, I didn't like Eadlyn as much as America, and maybe I still don't, but as the book progressed she started realizing her flaws and wanting to correct them. I feel we'll really see her grow in the series and I like that. Overall, this book is what you'd expect and very enjoyable. I'm not 100% on who she should end up with. I'm not even sure who I want her to end up with. There are at least three suitors I really like!...more

I realize they're in a war, but something could have gone a little better for our heroes. I think I'll like the last one because it has to end happy, right? At least not be so bleak.
