**Rounding up to 5 stars (4.5 maybe). I love these three stories. The Fork is great, and I'm so glad I reread it before Murtagh, because it sets the bases for the next Conflict. The Witch is short but interesting, and leaves me (again) wanting to know so much more about Angela. The Worm was maybe a little bit too long for me, but it's a nice one....more

I did a reconnaissance round over GR, and I saw everyone's beggining their review with the "once upon a time..." quote. But since this is not really gonna be a review but a summary of thoughts, I chose my own personal fave quote Never underestimate the power of that insufferable swagger" (view spoiler)[ It's taken me a lot of months to star this book. Deep down because I was afraid of not liking it. Because even if my reviews and markings of SJM in here are all extremely high, during the last year I somehow started to outgrow all of this and start seeing its flaws at last. But, turns out once you spend some time away from Sarah, you kinda pick it up with a differeny perspective and more joy. Yes, I could talk about the outrageous lack of representation, all straight couples, everyone's paired up... Yes, I know. We all know. It is not new, and I have nothing to add to it. But despite that I think we can all agree that this book, that Sarah, is still capable of making you feel in the deepest way, for everyone of those millions of main characters. To long for one of the Thirteen that we probably never heard talking. To forgive the bad things they do (I'm still not happy with Aedion but well, one can't have it all) and cry with the beautiful ones So for me, this filled with people ending was not that unrealistic. It was clever. And sad. And happy. As everything is So here's to this more than 900 pages, and to Terrassen (hide spoiler)]...more

Let all the ugliness end. Oh my mother frigging gods. Thank you, THANK YOU universe for making me forget everything about this book in this past 4 years. Not often it happens that you get to experience one of your favourite books for the second time like it was the very first time. I was able to enjoy this book like it was brand new, but with a sense of "calmness", since what I did remember is that I had liked the ending a lot, it not being catastrophic at least. It's not catastrophic. It's just perfect.
From Thyon, Eril-fane and Minya's arcs, The story filled with Witchlight, Eagles and blue beasts, Ghosts and gods, A beautifully but vaguely depicted universe that I HOPE we get to see more of, To my precious Lazlo.
There's NOTHING in this book I dislike. And please, some day, Laini, just take me back to the sky with all of them.

"I bring you a message from a friend of ours-" I'm torn- "-He wanted you to know that he's not dead," -apart- "-He can't be killed," -like never before. "-He's hope."
And there's two more books where I have to miss Kelsier all the time. Even if you could foresee his death from afar Even then, I never thought it would hurt me so much.
This was a glorious read. I didn't get bored for a single page. Maybe Vin ennerved me from time to time, but she turned out to be correct.
