As many before me have said, this book can become quite repetitive. It's not hard to understand the main point of the whole thing; there are two mindsets that we all have, fixed and growth (quick definition, yada, yada). However, I personally found the sheer number and variety of the different examples and anecdotes to be extremely helpful in identifying where I struggle with a fixed mindset. While some stories seemed almost ridiculous or obvious ("who wouldn't think that?"), others resonated so strongly that I had to put down the book and tell my friends or family about it. I am personally judging the book on what I believe it has taught me, and I think that if they are open to being introspective, I would highly recommend to my significant other, friends, family, coworkers, and former teammates. ...more
