I'm always down for a good murder mystery (and also smut) so this was a pleasant read. Even though the first chapter started with a veryyyyyyyyy spicy and explicit scene, the rest spicy scenes in the story weren't that good. But I still enjoyed it and loved it! It's just an observation. What I didn't like was that they were supposed to be in their mid-20s and yet, they still acted like teenagers? And because of that, I couldn't imagine them as adults while I was reading the chapters. The main plot is definitely 10/10 + the emotional rollercoaster that this story gave me.. DAMN, the feels.

Dear God! This story was amazing, chilling and horrifying at the same time and I loved it. Of course it destroyed me in the end but DAMN, I LOVED IT. I'm a big fan of Thomas Harris' Hannibal series, and I got big Silence of the Lambs vibes from this story and honestly, I was down for it. I'm a big fan of 6th-year stories and also 8th-year stories, so I was really curious about this fic because it gets a lot of hype on recs groups and also on Tiktok. While I was reading this story, sometimes I wanted to scream, cry or punch Draco in the face. He's totally possessive and maybe a little bit obsessive, and also don't forget that he's toxic too in this story. Hermione's submissiveness was very out of character, but at the same time, I enjoyed and loved it. (I'm also that typical girl who needs to be in control everywhere, but damn, in the bed, I want to be the one who's not in control.. yes, I'm a bottom too, smh). There was: Ron bashing (honestly, he bashes himself), veryyyy good smut scenes, toxic relationship, and emotional damage (for me at least). Oh, I hated Lavender so much in this one, I just wanted to hit her sometimes, ugh, she's annoying. I'll definitely continue this with the sequel. Definitely worth to read. If you don't have a stomach for very dark and unhealthy themes, this is not for you. I love dark stories but this was too much for me. I needed a big break from reading Dramione stories because this story ruined me in so many ways.
Definitely not gonna reread this one.. I don't want to suffer anymore.
