Yes, this book has some simiI thought maybe Night's Master is like One Thousand and One Night which the structure of the book contains short stories. Yes, this book has some similar story's structure to One Thousand and One Night, but it has one center character as the protagonist, the night's master. He was mischievous and naughty whom made plenty of pranks to human who lived in the underworld. His malicious demeanor would frequently cause troubles to mankind's world. Furthermore, indirectly bringing tragedies to other people or demons. This world is dismal to those who lived in the worlds, always premonitions accompanied catastrophic disasters in the underworld. Variably the night's master triggered those incidents with or without purposes. The night's master has strongly jealousy that sometimes aroused his malign motivation toward to others. He was horrific for the consequences from his actions although sometimes he chip in the miserable circumstances to drag people from grime swamp. Especially in the end of the book, His sacrifice saved the mankind that is absolutely subverted his image. This is why I think the night's master who is a interesting character in this book, not the simply evil but a immortal can not comprehend the suffering of mortals whom lived in the underworld. ...more

The descriptions of the stories in SoD are strongly solidified by The narrator, using dense and eloquent writing to articulate multiple verities of circumstances, which occurred on two main protagonists; however it could be a obstacle for readers when they are reading those S&S books with ornate descriptions and dialogues in stories. For me,I love Farthrd and grey moser series, although highly do not Suggest to readers who are used to Modern fantasy books in less flowery writing....more
Heroes Die is a Fantasy book or a (Science Fantasy) book I've read and been stunned by this complicate story with the two Parallel worlds. From readi Heroes Die is a Fantasy book or a (Science Fantasy) book I've read and been stunned by this complicate story with the two Parallel worlds. From reading Heroes Dies, It seems that I was experiencing the VR gaming story. Without Data or advent devices immerse myself in the book but understanding with The words were written by Matthew Woodring Stover. I actually had a euphoric time as I was deciphering the code of philosophy and was having fun moments in reading it! But be caution of the warning that I gonna tell you, it's a book contented with violence and brutality, You can see clearly that how the audiencs have been avaricious for entertaining just ignore others have been suffering in a predicament. This is a book about dystopia was set in a high technology world, the audiences from Earth want to be content therefore a company has developed a top-notch tech for people wearing this kind of hoop in order to transmit super stars's experience from the other land via the device. Hari Michaelson was a superstar but not performed a regular show, he was killing people from the other world which were parallel to Earth. Ankahana is a world with Medieval vibe society and sorcery so that it is like a fantasy world for me. The time lines on Earth and on Ankahana are intrigued to read. Hari and Chain both are the same person but with different jobs and identification for the protagonist. Hari/ Chain were suffering the consequences from Killing or building up the career, how could Hari/Chain react to the conspiracy behind the scene, and the company was manipulating both Hari/Chain to make a huge profit from the perform. All those factors are mixed with a true love story that Hari/ Chain was finding his missing girl friend while she was disappeared in the slum of Ankahana. Heroes Die is a book question of many things for heroes, and a book provide somehow alternative solution to the story. The connections between Earth and Overworld could be hard to grasp the meanings for readers. Especially POVs are jump a lot in the previous chapters, Some hard to pronounce names and locations, moreover a new concept to explain why Overworld was existed in this book and how it became a paradise for the audiences via VR like techniques. Still it is a book with new concepts and wild adventures for the protagonist with violence actions, also implicating the dystopia society could be contaminated by highly developed technologies for indulgence. overall, Heroes Die is a hidden gem in Fantasy genre, I hope it could be read by more modern readers....more

This book is totally grim, gritty and being horrific at characters, plots; and keep pushing the boundaries of violence in fantasy genre, this book is not shame of displaying the cruelties of villains and heroes; It’s gruesome not only at big scales of casualties in battles but also how heroes treating enemies. Richard K Morgan apparently removes all the brightish colors instead fills with dark shades in This bleak, excruciatingly hopeless world.
Ringil Eskiath was a war hero who had fought Lizard-like folks and dragons. After he came back from the war few years later, he indulged himself in brothels, trying to forget what he had done in the war: however, one day his mother found Ringil in a brothel and demanded him searching for his cousin who was missing for a few year. Reluctantly, Ringil set up to find his cousin and realized that he was back to the society which he was not familiar with because of long fighting in the war, and after that, the world before the war has changed. He realized that he still wanted to do in his tough way if anything or anyone was against him. He soon would discover a alien race that was trying to invade his world…
I can see why Ringil has suffered a lot from the war, and in his childhood, basically, his miserable life experiences have brewed him into a very tough also not afraid of doing horrendous things to other people. He was forced to be fucked by his classmates, the bullies included his older brother, when he was at school; since then, he became a faggot who like to fuck males. In his childhood, he had a best friend who were smuggling illegal goods with, but when the government had announced that no smugglers would escape from the new laws, hence Ringil and his best friend were on the scaffold to be executed, but Ringil had been pardoned due to his family’s status. Then he had witnessed his best friend was slowly being tormented to death; during the progress, one of the urchins who was less than 15 years old threw stones onto Ringil’s friend, and Ringil automatically broke the urchain’s neck… at that paragraph, I realized it was Ringil’s true love who was slowly suffering on the scaffold. A hysterical hag proclaimed that the king would rise from the marsh, and at this premonition that which is the end of Ringil’s dismal childhood.
The Land Fit for Hero series is a trilogy, the first book, The Steel Remains Combines Sci-Fi elements, detective story line, and some abhorrent creatures, and malevolences from heroes or the alien intruders; it is the most ultra-violent book in the trilogy . The Steel Remains is NOT for EVERYONE, especially those readers who just want a cozy and merrymaking adventures. Long time ago, when I First started reading Fantasy books in English, this is one of the fantasy books I recalled vividly, the writing of Ringil, the war hero that narrates his inner thoughts on wars, politics, and changes, make me feel he was furious at current situations, he was ranging at the alien intruders, he was frenzied in battle fields. His almost uncontrollable temper is good also bad while reading in Ringil’s POVs, although it worked for me.
A fantasy book has done something special, but if you do not like violence and how heroes have done terrible things to villains, things about gays etc, then it is not a book for you....more
