REViEW: This is a very emotional book that really makes you think. I read a sample of this book on my kindle was absolutely intrigued. I wondered, alongside Clay, why he was on the list. I would not recommend this book for anyone younger than 14 because of the tough issue that it is primarily about. This book had a very past pace and was so interesting I could not put this book down. The only problem I had with the writing was that it was hard to distinguish Hannah's voice from Clay's. The writing would be in italics for Hannah's voice and after about very sentence, the point of view would switch abruptly to Clay. I enjoyed his comments, but I wish it would be easier to tell when each character was speaking.
I really enjoyed Clay. He was realistic and wondered why he would be on the tapes. I felt for him throughout the book, I could not imagine listening to a dead girl's voice explaining why she did what she did. It's really heartbreaking. Asher did a terrific job of making Hannah's experiences relatable and realistic. I can understand why Hannah committed suicide, but I still think she should've reached out a little bit more. Her experiences were unique but not so outlandish that I could not believe that they could occur. I applaud Asher for making so many characters stories come to life. It must have been hard to come up with 13 reasons why, but he did a stellar job and turned them into mini stories.
The ending was just... breathtaking. Hannah's story was so interesting that I wanted to explore her life more. I really enjoyed this entire book. It really made me remember certain times in my life that made me feel low, but I also remembered how I overcame the feelings. I just wish Hannah (although fictional) could have overcome hers.
My Favorite Part: The whole concept with the cassette tapes and 13 reasons. This book was simply breathtaking.

REViEW: The Summer I Turned Pretty's plot was very well done. I really, really loved this book. I devoured this book in a day. It was just so interesting I couldn't put it down. I didn't have any high expectations for this book when I bought it, but now I'm definitely glad I read it. By the cover I thought this was going to be a really cheesy chick-lit book, but it's really much deeper than that. It's a romance but it's a very realistic love story. This book isn't all about the romance either. It also has parts about friendship, falling in love, and family problems. This book is very heartwarming and the perfect way to end the summer.
The characters were just, if not more, amazing than the plot. They were very well down and very vivid. All of the characters, especially Belly, were very realistic. I was able to easily relate to them and could feel their emotions. Jeremiah and Conrad's attitudes were so realistic and I later understand along with Belly everything they were going through. I really felt like I was going to cry when Belly did. This entire book really connected with me on an emotional level.
Wow. I did not see this ending coming. It's probably the best ending I have read in a long time! It was so good, I couldn't even blink. I really wish I had a exciting summer like Belly's. She caught the eyes of three very lucky men while I read... all summer.
My Favorite Part: I loved the entire book. Especially the characters and the summer vibe of this book. It was a very relaxing read.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Absolutely! It's the perfect book for summer and just had a good feeling to it.

REViEW: Ahh I loved this book. I was a little bit apprehensive to start this book. I tryed to read it awhile ago and thought it was so slow and boring. After reading a lot more YA, I realize how beautifully written this book was. The writing is lyrical and really amazing. Ms. Stiefvater's writing is slow, but not boring slow. Her style is just very slow. I did enjoy every minute of it, it's just not the kind of book that is easy to read in one day. The plot was well thought out. It wasn't the typical wolf plot. I liked how she incorporated the changing of wolves into man in warmth. I thought that played very well into this book.
The characters were really believable. I loved Sam. I just didn't think there was much depth about Sam and Grace falling in love. It was just like girl meets boy and automatically start kissing. There was no development of their relationship. I didn't really get to see them fall in love, which I would've liked. The alternate point of views were enjoyable, I liked being able to get inside Sam's head. Some times Sam said things that were the kind of things that Grace would've said. I like it when one author can bring together two distinct voices and make them completely different. At the beginning of the book, I thought that Grace was a sweet, innocent, loner girl, but later on her personality rapidly changed. I don't know if I missed something, but she seemed to be a little bit trampy when Sam came into the picture. It was unexpected. Other than those few things, I loved the characters.
The ending was so beautiful. It really touched my heart. I'm rooting for Sam and Grace's relationship, and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. The ending was pretty simple, but really cute. It actually surprised me a little bit.
My Favorite Part: Sam and Grace's relationship, no question about it. It was so romantic, and I can't help wishing that Sam was my boyfriend.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Absolutely. It's really really good!
Will I be reading the next book? Yes! I plan to buy it very soon!...more

REViEW: This book left me breathless. When I initially picked up this book, I did not expect to like it as much as I actually did. This book went above and beyond what I expected. Wither is a dystopian tale, but it is unlike the others that I have read. The premise and world that DeStefano creates in Wither is very unique and hauntingly beautiful. It is a horrible world to live in, I certainly feel bad for Rhine, Jenna, and Cecily. I would never want to be forced into a marriage. It's horrible, but it seems so normal and typical while reading the book. It takes a true author to be able to transport you into a fictional world. Another thing I loved about this book was the strong emotions that in evoked within me. I cried at one part in the book, and that is really rare for me. I also found myself cheering for Rhine at the end. I was completely absorbed in this book, which made this book even more enjoyable.
The characters were just as amazing as the plot. Rhine was three-dimensional and very realistic. Rhine is a strong female protagonist. I loved seeing her strength as well as her hope of running away. Although I'm not exactly like Rhine, I felt like I was Rhine while reading this book. Usually I have to perfectly relate to a character, but with Rhine I felt as if I just fit into the story alongside her. It was a very neat experience. I also loved Jenna and Cecily. They both had they're backstories and I felt like I was able to get to know them alongside Rhine. Rowan, I feel like I was able to get to know him from Rhine's reminiscing. I also felt bad for Linden, he was such an interesting character. Vaughn was the most perfect evil villain in this book. All of the characters came together to add some color to this already glowing book.
The ending was very good as well. It was a little bit simple, but the climax and other event leading up to the end gave it some power. I really enjoyed the ending. It seemed like the perfect conclusion. It left me with many answers, but also left some questions unanswered to fill the next book. The ending is not a cliffhanger, but it does leave the reader wondering what will happen next in Rhine's adventure. All in all, I have definitely enjoyed this book. It is certainly a new favorite of mine. It had something special that I haven't read in a while.
My Favorite Part: The entire story was just breathtaking. I loved how it evoked so much emotion within the reader.

REViEW: Whoa... this book was a wild ride. Warning: when beginning to read this book, prepare not to stop, because it is that addicting. I honestly could not put this book down. When I started this book I thought that it would be a sappy, cliche read about a girl who sees ghosts. This book was so much more. I normally need romance in the books I read in order for me to be interested, but this book was so brilliantly done, I would not change a thing. There is enough tension between Chloe and Simon and Derek to suffice for romance. Sure there isn't in your face romance, but this book did not need it. There is some very well written action in this book that I absolutely loved. I normally do not like action in books, but this was executed so well, it blew me away. This book read like a movie and I could not put it down. The plot was unique and this book was overall a great read.
The characters were excellent as well. There was a good amount of characters and each of the m had a story. Some of the other characters stories weren't fully explained, but I'm sure in the next two installments their backgrounds will be established. Chloe was the ideal protagonist. She wasn't perfect, she had faults, but it made her real. She was strong and a great leading female. She's certainly someone I want as a friend. I also liked Rae and Liz, even Tori at times. They all had distinct personalities. Simon and Derek... Wow... They added a lot to this story. Simon was really interesting and I loved his personality. Derek was mystery boy... Hehe I loved him. I wanted to get to know him and to better understand him alongside Chloe. His personality was realistic and I enjoyed getting to know him. He added some humor as well as tension with Chloe that was very enjoyable.
The tension at the end had my adrenaline running. I did not expect that ending and it made me want to rush out and buy the sequel (which I actually tried to, but my bookstore didn't have it). The ending was very exciting, my heart was literally racing alongside Chloe's. It takes an amazing writer to make the reader feel such strong emotions. As you can see, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I look forward to reading many more books by Ms. Armstrong.
My Favorite Part: The action. This was such a fast paced book and the action was so well written I could picture everything happening. This book read like an action movie.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Absolutely! It's so great and I hear the series just gets better from here (if that is even possible!)

REViEW: The plot of Beautiful Creatures was breathtaking. I cannot explain how much I loved this book! For as long as this book was, there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed every minute of it. This is a long book though, it took me a long time to get through it, not because it was boring but rather because it's LONG. It's so good that you never want to put it down. I thought that I wouldn't like reading from a male perspective, but it was so easy to read. I loved how deeply he cared for Lena and really thought his point of view was interesting.
Wow, the characters were AMAZING! Lena and Ethan were relatable and completely fascinating. Some of these characters were a little strange, but I loved them just the same. The romance between Lena and Ethan really entranced me. It was real yet unreal at the same time. It was really extraordinary.
The ending did not disappoint me at all. This amazing journey ended with an unexpected BANG! I loved it. I can't wait to read the next book.
My Favorite Part: I loved everything, but I would have to say I enjoyed the romance the most. Ethan and Lena had a lot to deal with, and they seemed real to me.

CONDENSED REViEW: This book is really good. It started off a little slow but once it sped up and got to the heart of the book, it was breathtaking. I liked the characters and the amount of thought Ms. Condie put into their stories. This is a great book and I know the sequel will be even better.
REViEW: Matched is quite an interesting read. The Society immediately grabbed my interest. I really wanted Cassia to rebel and "not go gently" against the Society. I'm sure she'll change some things in the Society later in the trilogy. The plot was very intriguing but it was slow at first and seemed rushed at the end. It wasn't was detailed as I had hoped.
The characters were very detailed. I loved learning of Ky's brutal past. I wish I could've gotten to know more about Xander though. I got to know Cassia by the the end of the book but did not feel as attached to her as I would've wished. I also really didn't have a strong opinion on who I wished Cassia would end up with (though I do prefer Ky).
The ending was amazing. It was probably the highlight of this book. It really made me excited for the sequel. I really connected to Cassia emotionally at the end.
My Favorite Part: Probably the twists and drama that occurs in the last few chapters. I won't say any more so nothing is spoiled.
ALL iN ALL: Do I recommend this book? Yes, it's an enjoyable, relaxing read. Will I be reading the next book? Yes, I can't wait and am about to pre-order it!

REViEW: The plot of If I Stay was simply beautiful. The story had a darker tone to it but the flashbacks lightened the mood. Ms. Forman really stuck to the plot throughout the entire book.
Mia, as well as all of the characters, was very believable. Though faced with a difficult decision, Mia was a very relatable character. When reading this book, I really began to love Mia and her family. Another thing I loved about Mia was that she struggled, she's not superwoman, she's real. I enjoyed reading how Mia contemplates her choices and actually has to choose.
The ending did not disappoint. When I read the last line, I wished that there was more. I went on this wonderful, heart-wrenching journey with Mia and it was just over. The ending is not really a cliff-hanger, but there is a sequel that take place years later.
My Favorite Part: It would probably have to be the incorporation of music in this book. I loved how Mia lost herself in the music, especially when playing her cello. I also really liked how her boyfriend, Adam, shared Mia's passion for music.

CONDENSED REViEW: Wow this book is amazing. I read the first book of the VA series and I really didn't like it. I almost gave up on the series but I'm super glad I didn't! So far this is my favorite book of this series, and definitely one of my favorite books in general! Go buy this book now! You won't regret it.
REViEW: Wow. Read this book NOW! Like go out and buy it, it's amazing! Even if you read the first book and didn't care for it KEEP READING, it really, REALLY gets better! The plot was just amazing! It was straight forward and intriguing. I was interested the entire time and never got bored, even though it was a little slow at first. There were a ton of twists and action that made me want to keep reading.
The characters were so much more developed in this book. I really liked them a lot more and was able to relate with them. I think that the characters really made this book memorable. I started to respect Rose a lot more in this book. She's really tough and I really enjoyed that. Dimitri was amazing, as always, I really wish he existed... Lissa is still as sweet as ever. I really started to love Christian in this book, he wasn't as arrogant as usual. Same with Adrian, he gained some respect.
The ending proudly did this book justice. It was amazing just like the beginning and the middle. I really liked the ending but it did leave me a little sad. It really made me want to read the next book, which I have already started.
My Favorite Part: This was a hard one... I think it would have to be Dimitri and Rose's relationship. I just really enjoyed it.
