But alas, there’s some things I just can’t cope with anymore when I’m reading:
1. The heroine did nothing for me. Watching a plant grow is more appealing.
2. WHY SO MANY F-BOMBS!!!! Seriously the f-bombs was it’s own character. Just like the cigarettes... it showed up in every sentence. EVERY. SINGLE. SENTENCE (there were 2 f-words in one sentence sometimes. I kid you not). Now I’m not some holier than thou can’t take a curse word sort of lady but this was too much. If you don’t believe me then watch this..... Arthur is mentioned 744 times in the book. Cheska is mentioned 477 times. Mind you these two are the hero and heroine. Guess how many times the word f*ck shows up? Over 1,000+. My kindle literally couldn’t even count the exact amount! Does anyone feel my pain?! Can anyone see me??!! K moving on.
3. I was being told repeatedly how devilish, evil and satanic Arthur was. After the 10th time I started rolling my eyes.
4. Peaky Blinders. Need I say more?
This didn’t work for me, but a lot of my GR friends loved it! I’d recommend giving this a try for those dark romance lovers and Tillie Cole fans.
Also I stopped at 54% but if you managed to read this review this far please don’t tell anybody I didn’t finish a Tillie Cole book!...more

The Ghostwriter is a page-turner. Packed with an underlying ominous suspense, perplexity and chilling moments. It gave me early AT vibes, you know the Deanna Madden/Black Lies sorta feels.
To be honest, I felt bad for whatever book I happened to read right after reading Still. I was pretty sure nothing I read, at least not for awhile, would live up to the emotional connection I felt with that book. But suspense was just what I needed, and make it an Alessandra Torre suspense and I'm one happy lady!
I devoured this book! [image]
Honestly, I refuse to give anything away, even the names of the characters. But what I will say is this one is a goodie! And it reminds me why I fell in love with Alessandra's books to begin with. I have no doubt it will leave you stunned and damn near speechless.

This is definitely a 5 Star read! Especially if you love Tillie Cole and you're a fan of the Hangmen Series, well then you'll for sure love this most recent release. After I read the last page I was saddened cause I don't think I've ever rated a Hangmen book below 4.5 stars. I just can't for the life of me give it 5 stars even though it's worthy of it:( I realize that doesn't make sense. If the writing is great, the characters are amazingly well-developed, the storyline is intense and keeps you on the edge of your seat, then what is the problem? Why can't I give it the 5 stars it deserves?!

And I realized why...the Sacred Sisters storyline is becoming a bit too repetitive for me. Please don't crucify me, but I found myself getting a little bored with this plot. I really liked AK, but he wasn't enough to catapult my rating to 5 stars. I just felt like "Ok, been there, done that." It didn't have the wow factor I was looking for and unfortunately I never could seem to warm up to Phoebe.
BUT I am and will always be a huge fan of this series and I cannot wait for the other stories. Tillie Cole is still one of my fave authors and she does not disappoint. If you've been waiting for AK's story then you'll for sure love this book....more

Wow this book! I was not expecting this from Coho. I'm thinking she needs to write more darker stories. I loved these characters and the storytelling, the imagery, the words was just on point. I was on the edge of my seat and I loved it.
I couldn't give it 5 stars simply because I felt like the ending didn't need all those epilogues and prologues. IMO, the book kept getting extended when it should've just ended.
Overall, this is a stellar read and if you're a Coho fan you definitely need to read this!...more

Shit got real! Not kidding. After book one I was in a whirlwind of what could possibly happen next and the things I didn't expect happened. Benny is a man who is sick, sick, sick. This was evil, intense, chaotic, creepy, gory and crazy but it was so entertaining and good! I don't know if I'll ever look at dolls the same way again. Not after being on this journey.
Pretty Lost Dolls picks up right where Pretty Stolen Dolls left off. Jade has been once again captured by Benny and she's back in the sick, twisted hell. From the first pages I was sucked in. Questions clouded my mind but I loved that all of my questions were answered! It was nice going into the mind of psycho Benny and getting a look into his past and seeing why he became such a monster.
I was on the edge of my seat. This story is thrilling, action-packed, bloody, gripping, it's dark and it's not for the faint-hearted. With every page I turned there was never a dull moment. If you like dark, suspenseful, erotic, wicked reads then I highly recommend this one!

HOLY SHITBALLS! I know K. Webster wrote a little warning at the beginning of the book, but lets be honest, I simply thought it was there to heighten the suspense a bit. But good Lord the woman wasn't joking. This book took me on such an emotional rollercoaster! I was not expecting to read what I read! OMG the anticipation had me so anxious as to what will happen, I was almost in serious need of hard liquor! I was literally sitting in my library on the edge of my seat! No joke! I started reading with the intention of starting the first chapter cause it was Saturday and I had chores to do, but 3 hours later I was like "Damn you chores!" and I kept reading to the very end! So yes I devoured this and licked the bowl!
Baylee is a seventeen year old, who gets abducted by a man she trusted. She was beaten, battered, raped to become a slave, a woman to be sold to the highest bidder. I don't want to give the story away, but this is an intense, suspenseful read that will have the hair rising on your body. It will make you mad, sad, it's arousing, it's formulating, it's weird and it's such a well written story. I loved how Webster touched on the issue of (view spoiler)[sex trafficking (hide spoiler)]. It's disgusting and sad that things like this happens in the real world that we live in.
This is my first K.W. read and it won't be my last. I'm so excited to start book 2!

I can't say enough how much I love this book. Gah how much I love Rider! Tillie Cole has taken us on such a journey. And this fourth book does not disappoint. I didn't know how TC would redeem Rider because let's face it, he was an asshole in the previous books. But Rider was indeed redeemed. I fell in love with this hero. Absolutely in love. The twist and turns, the intrigue, the suspense was almost too much to bear. Rider's loneliness was so hard to read. His loneliness broke my heart and I felt so deeply for him. Oh and the secrets...wow! The pages of this book played out before me like a cinematic movie. I was so engrossed from the beginning to the very end.
Unlike the other books, this one is definitely more enjoyable if you go into it blindly. Be prepared for an epic ride. Hades Hangmen has become one of my all time favorite series! And I cannot wait for the other hangmen stories.
*************************************************** Woohoo I got an arc! Thank you so much Tillie for gifting me a copy! I can't wait to dive into this story!...more

I almost couldn't deal...this book was pure torture. For the first time in my life I felt like I needed someone to hold my hand while reading...I needed my mommy! But oh man I LOVED it! Ky, the Hades Hangmen Whore *sigh* I'm in love with Ky. Yes I'm Sher and I'm madly in love with a fictional character!
This story took me on such an intense, emotional journey like never before, (well besides The Bronze Horseman, that book almost killed me). Ky, what can I say about Ky. He was just a well rounded, solid character. My kind of funny, lovable, asshole hero, but with redeemable qualities, you just have to give him a chance. He worms his way through to your heart and you cannot help but fall for him. The sweetest part is the way he gets redeemed by love. Who would've thought a Jesus freak, "virginal pilgrim" girl would be the one to redeem such a selfish, sinful man?
Lilah was brainwashed since birth by her religious cult. Unlike Mae in book 1, she did not willingly leave her place in the sadistic cult. It was all she knew. I love how Ky was so loving and patient with her. He protected her and guided her like a true alpha male should. I really liked Lilah and I do think she's earned a place on my favorite heroine list. Her transformation was such a beautiful one, but most of all, I loved how even to the very end she held on to her faith and I empathized with that. It was painful seeing how tortured she was and what she endured and that alone made me ache in my heart for a happy ending for her. I've never been so happy for an HEA for two fictional like I have been with Ky and Lilah. They sincerely deserved it.
I ADORE the secondary characters, besides KA, Tillie Cole is the master at introducing and developing each character until you're dying to hold their story in your hands. Each scene was filled with such deep feels that at times I had to rest my book down and count to ten. After meeting TC and hearing how much research was put into these books I appreciated the storyline even more. Sadistic cults can be intense, some of the teachings can seem absurd and sometimes the effects of brainwashing never fully vanishes and storylines like this can be tough for those who just can't grasp the effects and damages wrought by religious cults. Tillie Cole has proven herself to me as a master storyteller. I say that because the unfolding, the renewing, the transformation of Ky and Lilah was spectacular. It couldn't have been an easy task. But she did it and she did it well.
I'm obsessed with this series and I'm so excited to see what will become of secondary characters. This is a very dark read and super intense, but it's worth the read that's for sure....more

Um wow! Just wow! I could slap myself for waiting so long to read this book! This story had everything I love in a book:
-Hot, Tortured Alpha Male -Lovable Heroine -Steamy Sex -Intense, on the edge of your seat, Plot -Funny, scary and exciting secondary characters (Cannot wait to read Flame's story!) -Action -Intrigue -Suspense -Romance -And its an MC read (which I love since I'm still obsessed with Sons of Anarchy)
Styx, oh how I love Styx. This disabled hero will always have a place in my heart. Styx is the Hades Hangmen MC club president, scarily known as "The Hangmen Mute". He has a disability and cannot speak to anyone except his father, best friend Ky and the mysterious girl he met by the fence. 15 years pass and this girl has never left his memory...quite frankly as the years go by he becomes more and more obsessed with her. She's haunted his dreams and every waking moment day and night. But one day, Mae, the mysterious girl by the fence, shows up battered and bruised at the MC compound and wow this story takes you on such an intense journey!
Not only was this a beautiful romance, but it also opened my eyes to the tragedies people endure when they're a part of sadistic cults who claim to worship Jesus but are filled with their own hidden agendas. Tillie Cole truly is a master storyteller in the way that she weaves this story. The introduction of the other club members has me excited about this series, and gradually watching Mae and Styx's relationship blossom into something beautiful. Words cannot describe this story! I literally could not put it down! Some stories are good for the moment and some stick with you forever...I know for a fact this one is the latter. I'll never forget this one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I've never met a heroine like Deanna Madden and I've read a lot of books. This series has been filled with twists and turns, suspense, sadness, chaos, murder, lust, sex. How can one book have it all? And Torre's writing was pure genius as always. The way she weaved this storytelling and wrapped it up was incredible, but I love how the ending isn't quite fully wrapped up. There's still a little opening there just in case Miss Torre gets an itch for a book 4 (and my fingers are crossed in hopes there will be one!). The imagery was beautiful and it didn't take much for me to be once again immersed into the mind of the isolated Deanna Madden. There's so many facets to Deanna. One minute she's hell and the next minute she's compassionate. She's tried "normal" but it's just not in the cards for her. How can I like Deanna so much when she's proven to be so wrong?
This book 3 did not disappoint and it is not a standalone! I am a huge fan of The Girl in 6e series, if you haven't read it yet, buckle up cause you're in for a wickedly crazy ride....more
