Frankee is the daughter of another man in this stories company, she has just graduated college and is looking for a summer internship til she moves with her two girlfriends to a different state.
Porter our hero in this story is Frankees boss. He's a rugged gorgeous kind man who is finally seeing Frankee as more then "kiddo" when she was a child.
This story begins with Frankee wanting a internship at Lovibound brewery. She goes in for an interview with Porter who at first has no idea who Frankee is. Soon enough he figures out she is his "kiddo" all grown up no more child here and that lies the first problem he's now fully attracted to a girl who's father has been a loyal worker for many years. Besides that reservation he hires her on the spot. They start working closely together and quickly sexual tension gets the best of them and they begin a fling that will only last the summer. But you know complications arise feelings get intense and a fling easily can become more. Will these two fall in love, or will the fling last only til the fall?
I give this book 3 and a half stars I enjoyed the characters and it was nice to see old characters return and how they are doing as well. I quite enjoyed frankee and Porter's story and am sad to see them go.
Amber's Review
“Your old crush is now your boss. You’ll be working side by side with him every weekday for the entire summer. This could be your big chance to make something happen.”
I felt like this conversation between Frankee and her friends really sets up the beginning of this book. It's a story of an old crush turned new flame, and these two do ignite some sparks. But new relationships aren't without struggle and this one is no exception, never mind that Porter is Frankee's boss but her dad works for the Lovibond brewery as well.
They decide to keep this under wraps, it's supposed to be a bit of fun because she's leaving for Austin in a few weeks but soon the fun turns serious when both characters realize they're falling.
This is the 3rd book in Men of Lovibond series, I haven't read the first two but that didn't take anything away from this story and I'll be going back to read the other two. This story has a lot of heart, a lot of heat, and right when you don't expect it a lot of crazy!
This story has it all, friends to lovers, older brothers best friend, etc. The author is new to me but she completely pulled me in with this story. MaThis story has it all, friends to lovers, older brothers best friend, etc. The author is new to me but she completely pulled me in with this story. Margo had a crush on Noah when she was younger but life happens, people grow up and apart until one fateful night brings these two back together.
Noah believes he has his life in order, all his ducks in a row, until a stunning woman he rescued from the rain begins to turn everything upside down. Margo is a strong, independent woman who is striking out on her own with hopes of running her own business.
The chemistry between these two sparks off the pages, but that doesn't mean love will come easily for them and they are faced with many hurdles they will have to overcome if they want their relationship to last.
It's a great story from beginning to end, and one that I wasn't ready to put down. I'll definitely be looking for more books from this author....more

I was so surprised by this book. I knew I would like it based on the blurb but it delivered so much more!
Octavia is an 18 year old girl who’s ready to head off to college but before those dreams come true she needs to find a job so that she can help her mother support her two younger siblings. She applies all over town only to be turned down, finally she thinks her luck has turned around when a grizzly of a man is looking for a nanny but that doesn’t exactly go as planned either.
Matt Hansen and his two children have recently moved to a sleepy little town to try and escape the past. He is a widower who hasn’t quite be able to handle his grief and hides behind anger and unkept appearance.
What could these two possibly have in common, a sweet naïve girl and a man that’s rude to everyone to keep them at bay? Chemistry, that’s what! They both know it’s wrong, but will that keep them apart? Add in crazy siblings, a mystery father figure, and a psychopath and what you have is a story that will keep you interested and entertained!
Jessica’s Review 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The title is what drew me in! I have read other books by Jo Raven and have loved them, so the description of this book seemed sexy and fun but also seemed like there could be a lot more too it.
Matt broke my heart! His internal dialogue was heart breaking and real, but seeing him grow as the book end on, was magic.
Octavia was hard headed and strong. I loved her whole personality and how dedicated she was to everything from her family, to the kids, to matt. She wasn’t defeated when you feel that there has to be a breaking point.
I loved the plot! Single dads are a big weakness for me, so it was like candy for my soul! As I worked my way through the story, and the puzzle prices fell together I was more and more I was captivated by everything that went on. There is a huge mystery aspect to the book, and while o felt that it was predictable, it was still good.
I love that it was told from duel POV. I felt it helped with the flow of the story by letting us into both characters heads.
Overall, the author has written another amazing book. It was captivating and raw, with heat and a little humor. The writing was done amazingly and I can’t wait to see what else her mind can come up with!!! 4 stars #2OCCJD...more

We first meet Tatum, a single mother, and her daughter Tulsie while they're trying to have a relaxing day at the river. While there a motorcycle gang decides to crash the party and while Tatum might find one of the men a little intriguing she knows they are bad news.
This book quickly takes a terrifying turn when Tatum and her daughter are kidnapped. You'll be swept away by this book, full of suspense, emotions, and eventually passion. Tatum is scared and angry that her freedom has been taken, but Nic found them captivating and truly believed he was offering the girls a better life. What happens when the best of intentions are filled with skewed choices?
This story is well written, and the characters are well developed. It's a great read from beginning to end when Tatum will have to decide what's more important, Love or Freedom?

I loved every page turn I only wish there was more! #2OCCAB
***Amber's Review**** Let me start off by saying that it took me a few chapters to get into this book. So if you're feeling like I did, DON'T STOP, keep going because it is so so good!! I've loved all of Lex Martin's books, Leslie McAdam was new to me but together they made an amazing collaboration.
Evelyn Mills is a hard working attorney looking for a big break. She's kept her nose in the book and her eye on the prize of making partner at the firm, but will her big break be porn?
Josh is a Cartwright and is forced to live up to all the expectations that come along with that name. But he's already the black sheep so what's the harm in taking a silly bet from his oldest friend?
This book has it all! It is steamy and oh so sweet, will make you swoon then make you blush. These characters go through so much and you will root for them the entire time! Once it grabs you it won't let go, I highly recommend this romantic comedy!!...more

I requested this book from the author after reading the synopsis because who doesn’t like a hot wealth guy, damsel in distress, wedding planning, and all the things to make a HEA. But wait; there are a few pesky little things that get in the way, of course.
The groom to be, Benton, has a partying problem. He likes it too much. Being born wealthy he doesn’t work at anything other than a good time. Things change as he gets to know his bride, but you never really get the impression that he is going to be what we want for Jolene.
Jolene, the bride to be, has had a difficult life so she takes nothing for granted and she works hard for what she wants. She does have one major problem, her mother. But thanks to Benton, she handles that very well in the end.
Reading about the interaction between these two characters and how each change during their “getting to know you” period is enchanting. After some strife with their families, Benton’s wedding gift to Jolene is delightful way to bring the story back around to the real reason that the two of them are together.
A sweet book that was a quick read. Ms. Baldwin’s debut novel is well written and her character development is good. I really liked that the characters didn’t have the same argument again and again as sometime can happen. They resolved their problems and moved on. It made the storyline move at a good pace.

Ambers Review
This is the first book I've read by this author and I'm happy to say I may have found a new favorite. The main and supporting characters are well developed and engaging. The writing is excellent, it pulls you in and I found myself invested in this story and these characters.
We meet Jolene who is a struggling business owner trying perhaps to juggle too much in one day. Just when things start to look grim she gets an offer to plan a lavish wedding, the only problem is the groom does not yet have a bride. He makes an offer, but how far will Jolene go to help her friends and herself?
Benton Spencer is a bit of a brat. He's arrogant yet charming, the spoiled rich kid you don't really want to like but can't seem to help it. Then he really pulls you in with lines like this one "All you have to do is say you want this, and I’ll make it work. I’ll fight for this.” Swoon! But this is supposed to be an arrangement not a love connection so what will he do when he realizes he's caught some feelings for the wedding planner?
It's a fun read, dramatic without going overboard, and is full of chemistry. I'd definitely recommend it!

I don't even know what I can say about it...I feel like anything I say won't do it the justice it deserves. Every Adriana Locke book is a 5 star read for me, but I think this one shows a whole new depth to her writing. Also, I know i'm starting to gush but I have to comment on her ability to write the alpha male. "You are mine. You will always be mine," I tell her. "Get that through your beautiful fucking head."- Oh that Ty is positively swoon worthy!! I mean when a book starts out with a line like this "Scrambling to find the way to say all I'm feeling aloud, I realize: maybe there aren't words. Maybe that's what love is, someone so beautiful and perfect that you can only feel it." you have to know it's going to be an amazing story and it absolutely is. Written in the Scars tells a very realistic tale of how hard even the best of marriages can get. It has the perfect amount of love, heartbreak, angst, and friendship. Elin and Ty one had the perfect marriage, and it's obvious that there is still love between them, but after trust and their hearts have been broken can they get back to where they once were, or are their hearts to scarred? And without giving anything away, there is a part that had me screaming "NO, this cannot be happening!" at my kindle over and over again. So my advice is buy this book as soon as you can, and read it as fast as you can! I promise you won't regret it....more
