His family relations are slowly starting to heal from the previous stories and I loved the appearance of the other characters including Sophia and Macalister. The Temptation features a fake relationship between Emery and Vance when she gets introduced as his girlfriend. They have a mutual friend who has gone missing and both wanted into the safe belonging to that friend’s father. Luckily, Emery is a safecracker but she needs a valid reason to be apart of the Cape Hill elite. Enter their fake relationship. In addition to that, Vance had made a deal to go for 90 days without sex which ramps up the heat between them. I loved how their fake relationship quickly dissolved into something even more serious. Both Emery and Vance were rightfully hesitant to reveal their past and their secrets but as they come out, they work through them. The sexual tension in this book was off the charts and I actually thought that made their growing relationship even stronger. In terms of external tension though, I thought this book lacked it in comparison to the other books in the series. When I read the first book, I immediately devoured the rest of the series. For The Temptation, I stopped and started it a few times and just felt less engaged with the storyline. The urgency to finish Emery and Vance’s story just wasn’t there for me. Overall, this was a solid story for Vance especially but wasn’t my favorite in the series....more

In I feel like every review I write for a Katee Robert’s book is about how freaking hot and sexy the book is. And that’s 100% true for The Sea Witch. In this spin on The Little Mermaid, Katee Robert gives as a menage between Ursa, Alaric, and Zurielle. This is her first FMF romance and I didn’t realize how much I would especially love the scenes between Ursa and Zurielle. Innocent Zurielle gets caught in Ursa and Alaric’s scheme for revenge against her father. This initially caused me a little discomfort, especially with the virginity auction for Zurielle. However, the revenge plot quickly gives way to the extreme attraction between the three characters. With her blinders removed, Zurielle is forced to take a hard look at her life and decide if she wants to return to her father’s cage or swim free. Ursa, the powerful Sea Witch and territory leader, has to learn to lower her guard and let her lovers in. This leaves Alaric the weakest character and I’ll admit, he wasn’t my favorite. I probably would have been happy with the relationship just being between Ursa and Zurielle but I do see the appeal. Overall, a sexy and steamy read that you’d expect from Katee Robert’s Wicked Villains series.

This was a beautiful book that focused on the development of Niva and Graven. Niva has recently come into her power as Sex Goddess for her planet. While Graven is a bio-engineered solider without the ability to feel touch. This is an initial desire between them but it grows into a bond when they sneak off together for Niva to try to use her goddess powers to fix Graven. This book is sexy, kinky, steamy, and yet has moments of sweetness between the sex. Niva learns to speak up for herself and to make her Sex Goddess position her own. Graven learns how to care for someone else and to break free of the shackles of his terrible father. This was an excellent book and I really enjoyed it!...more

I loved that Emma and Grayson have a marriage with open communication and no major drama. And yet, they both want Grayson's best friend Derek. A kinky Christmas gift in the form of Emma to Derek leads to a delightful MMF threesome. Derek and Grayson are able to finally address their feelings for each other. Honestly, this was exactly what I wanted from this book. Katee Robert absolutely delivers!
