This book is filled with inconsistencies and unlikeable characters, to the point you wish all of them died. Even the detectives got on my nerves.
Loved the idea and was in for a nice mystery, but would not recommend. Luckily it was a quick read to cross off a task for a reading challenge....more

How disappointing.. I don't read many non-fiction books, because I love my fantasy stories, but every once in a while I like to try something else.

"You are a Badass" sounded like a great book for me and I'm sad it didn't work out. Jen repeats a lot of things I already know without really motivating me. Honestly, these type of books make me feel worse about myself instead, haha. It's a lot of 'if you WANT something, you can get it' and 'Love yourself no matter what and things will work out.' I don't think that's the way to approach something.
I also don't like how she talked about depression and made it sound like this is something you can easily change with happy thoughts. I don't suffer from depressions, but I can imagine that it's hurtful for people who do to read about it that way.
