This is a 4-issue anniversary special that gives it’s readers an interesting story showing us all three famous men who donned the Ant Man Helmet at one point in time or another – quite literally. I don’t know a whole lot about these comic book men outside of the movie versions of them that exist, but having a base knowledge is recommended to fully enjoy this story as it jumps around in time as well as between characters and could be confusing if this is your first dive in.
Even though I didn’t know everything about everyone, I still found this a very enjoyable read and was interested in the story that was being told. Being only a 4 issues limited run, this was a super quick read that you can easily enjoy while passing some time after work, on a lunch break, or at night before bed. The characters were easy to get invested in, the art was lovely, and the story is thrilling enough to keep the pages turning.
This story celebrates the 60th anniversary of the tiny hero so many people love and does him justice. Between the art and the way the story is woven together, this is a great read for Marvel fans and especially for Ant Man fans.

I enjoyed the storyline so much and found myself incredibly invested in the plot that was unfolding. The writing was completely engrossing and compelling. I was flipping pages quickly to find out what would happen next. The characters definitely felt on point, and their stories and feelings were coming across so clearly, which you would think would be a no-brainer with a comic book that has pictures to go along with the story, but I've read many and it's not always the case. This story, though, is great storytelling and The X-Men at their best. Filled with so many great classic characters, but a totally fresh and unique storyline plus some new faces...what's not to like?
Another great thing is the panelling and artwork of this comic. The colors were fantastic and the story was drawn in a really great way that made the story easily readable as well as bingeable. This is a great fast-paced read that keeps the reader interested from cover to cover. I really liked the new concepts in retrospect to classic characters in this story and enjoyed the twist on their typical plots and characteristics. Each character felt both new and old at the same time if that makes sense, and I really enjoyed trying to figure out what everyone was up to along with their motives. The tensions run high, and time is running out for the good guys, but of course, the good guys and the bad guys always seem to be teetering on the same fence in the X-Men world and this installment is no different.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it to anyone who loves X-Men comics or also to anyone who is looking to try something new. Although this series starts after events that have already taken place in other comics, I haven't read the runs leading up to this one and I jumped into this story just fine. There's a decent amount of context provided to the reader that anyone could pick this volume up and be able to figure out what's going on and dive into the story. I will absolutely be reading more in this series.
