Harry’s an auror, investigating a possible terror-attack on an All-Beings-friendly music festival. Draco’s a bounty hunter, hired by the Auror Department to find and help Harry.
The political circumstances depicted here reflects to contemporary issues.
“Can you imagine this festival turning into a riot? Even if no one dies, it’d be conclusive proof that the Beings can’t coexist peacefully. The goblin talks will end. The centaurs will retreat back in the woods, out of sight. Every progress the elves have made will be rendered irrelevant.”

The festival atmosphere was nicely done, really captivating. Mutual pining for each other, for years.
A ravishing getting-together story, with a deep and smart suspense storyline. ...more

Malfoy looked as expensively dressed, aggressively hair-styled, and disdainfully bored as he always did.
Loved the getting to know each other part, loved the conflict, loved the tiny, amazing details.
‘You’re doing a lot for your family,’ Harry said. ‘Like back when— Back then. You did a lot for their sake. And you’re still doing it.’ Malfoy said, ‘So did you, Potter. You defeated a Dark wizard for what he did to your family. How is it any different to what I’m doing?’ ‘You’re giving up your life,’ Harry insisted. Malfoy actually laughed at this. ‘So did you.’
A lovely getting-together story. Highly recommended. [image]...more

On the first look, it may look like it’s about their newly discovered kink, but it’s much more than that. There is a conflict, solidly connected to their past, tender domesticity, and also a great portrayal of their feelings for each other. Actually, this story is about love. Interestingly and unusually structured narrative, too.

Ten years after the war. Harry’s about to make a speech at a party, but he’s distracted.
Harry had said he'd be able wait, that he could handle it all night. Draco's laugh had tickled something in Harry chest, the irresistible high of a challenge he knew he'd win.

Another getting-together story, slow and sweet, with ingenious details ((view spoiler)[Harry preparing tea with more and more care for Draco, or the spellwork designs of pensieves, or a certain memory from two different viewpoints, just a hint of angst because of their past and the war, the ultramodern, minimalist study of Harry (hide spoiler)]), with great characterization (both Draco and Harry are true to character), and with great supporting characters (Ginny, Dean, Kreacher).
Another version of Draco and Harry getting together, from Ron’s viewpoint.

“That’s better, Potter,” Malfoy thinks beside him. “So beautiful when you glare at me.” Oh, hell no. He’s quite prepared to admit that he’s not the most observant person in the world, but seriously, how the fuck has he missed this? More to the point, how has Hermione missed this?
It’s really fun to be in Ron’s head, the portrayal of the characters is spot on, not only Draco and Harry’s, but Ron, Hermione and Neville’s, too. And what a heartwarming picture the author has painted at the end of the story!

So many heartwarming, beautiful, amazing things in this story: Draco’s viewpoint, to start with. His personality. His desperation. His reflections of what happened during the war. His thoughtfulness. His spectacular sense of humor. Then the magic (the cloud, the Conjuring spells) – magic is a living thing.
"Nice cloud." Draco tensed. Potter was standing right next to him. Draco looked up and sneered. "You like it? Have some." Draco's hand shot up and grabbed Potter's forearm. The cloud reacted immediately: it stretched above Potter and spat copious amounts of rain at him. Potter spluttered but, to Draco's distress, he was laughing.

Draco’s protectiveness of Goyle was nice, and Goyle’s character’s quite entertaining.
Just as Harry and Draco, Hermione and Ron were also kept true to their character, and Hermione being charge of the tower’s passwords was a hilarious plus.
Sweet and delightful story. Highly recommended....more

Harry is an auror, Draco is an art thief. Harry gets Draco released from Azkaban to help the Curses and Hexes Auror Division with information. Draco is under Harry’s custody, bond to him with a spell for the next four years…
Harry smiled grimly. “That’s the last condition. That I’m the Auror you’re assigned to.” Harry watched the smirk slowly crawl back into place. “Well, then. This should be interesting.”
The storytelling is amazing! I don’t think if I’ve ever even read anything like this before. It can be seen in movies though - what comes to my mind is King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
It’s the kind of fractured narrative structure when a character (Harry) first talks about something, but not exactly about the something, then you see it’s happening but not in flashbacks. I’m sure there is a term for it.
The writing is superb, the story is gripping, the characters are adults now, so there is development yet they are true to the original characterizations, the secondary characters are hilarious, the intimacy is palpable.
Highly recommended.
You were waiting for me? I’m always waiting for you, it seems.

We’re after the war, 8th year, the Malfoy family is sent to Azkaban. But Draco is offered the possibility to return Hogwarts if he agrees to submit to being bound to someone for a year. The bonding spell is kind of a house arrest under supervision instead of spending the sentenced time in Azkaban. He asks for Harry Potter.
First, I don’t really like the idea of the bond. It’s very dangerous: it gives almost total control over a person – it doesn’t seem, no!, it isn’t ethical, it’s very much like the Imperius Curse. After the war, how something like this can be allowed to use and be legal? But this is the base of the story, so I have to accept it. It’s a magical bond, and as it must work, it softens the hard edges of Harry and Draco’s personality to make it easier for them to cooperate. It brings their agreeable traits to the surface and keeps the not so agreeable ones at bay.
I love forced proximity in stories, and the working method of the bond is interesting – apart from the dubious ethical issues. It’s even more interesting what happens when the bond is removed.
The story is told from dual viewpoint, which is brilliantly done. Both of them are full of want and hope and doubts. Plus Harry feels, too, that this bond thing is not exactly right - he thinks that somehow he’s forced Draco into it. (view spoiler)[
“He was under the influence of the bond, Hermione, he had to want whatever I wanted! His choice to say no was taken away, and I took advantage of that! I - I abused him, I fucking ra-” Harry slid down to his knees and buried his head in his hands. “Oh my god, I raped him.”
As always, Hermione is there to help him to see the light.
“Nope.” Hermione popped the consonant, looking pleased with herself. “All the bond did was (view spoiler)[soften the edges of your personality traits that rub each other the wrong way. It stopped you both from thinking about all the bad history between you.” (hide spoiler)]
