From the quote (and the title of the book), you can see that this one isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's a smut romp through space and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. The real plus here though is that it includes:
✔ great world building ✔ fleshed-out main characters ✔ great side characters ✔ kinky goodness ✔ very decent writing ✔ awesomely sarcastic humor
In fact, I think the humor was my favorite part.
