It was the first book I’ve read by the author. It was a brother’s best friend - cougar story all wrapped in one.
I stumbled on the inexpensive, cute, light hearted and very sexy new erotica release The DILF. Owen was a new resident at Saint Bart’s hospital. He made the DILF list of new doctors immediately with the young female nursing staff. He was twenty five, smart, cocky and gorgeous. He had a crush on his best friend’s older sister when he was fifteen, and little did he know, the attraction was still there, even after ten years had passed without seeing her.
Stephanie was thirty five and a nurse. She was ready to settle down and start a family so she refused to participate in the DILF discussions at work. She had a bad engagement break up from an unfaithful doctor and had sworn off all doctors for good. She agreed to let her younger brother’s best friend stay with her a couple weeks til his apartment was available. The last time she saw him was ten years ago and he was skinny, geeky and had the typical teenage acne. No temptation whatsoever.
Andrews created a quick, light hearted, sexy AF read. It wasn’t necessarily deep or unpredictable, but it was sexy, fun and well written for a short novella. It was the perfect filler for a quick, low angst, no drama, no cheating and fun read.

Olive was a single mom and had just been hired to work at a gym that was owned by the local MC, the Iron Fiends. Cue Ball was a patched member of the MC. Olive was caught in the cross fire of an MC conflict which mandated her being protected by the MC. Sparks flew immediately and the rest of the story focused on the relationship building while Olive was raising her ten year old son, Rocky. Travers also included some mystery around the MC conflict, which will continue throughout the series. All in all, it was a quick, light hearted and fun read....more

I loved the original books and thoroughly enjoyed this one as well.
Bray was single but never without companionship. Women flocked to him except for the only one he really wanted. Karen was attracted to Bray but she had secrets and she kept herself isolated from friends, any friends, male or female - until the night her past caught up with her and she went to Bray.
The storyline had a suspenseful plot while also focusing on the relationship development between Bray and Karen. The chemistry had always been there, and now the development was lightning quick as they tried to keep her safe and sort out her past.
All in all, it was quick, sexy, suspenseful, fun and enjoyable. Foster also seemed to set the stage for other next generation books with Ford and Knox. One can hope!...more

Although there are currently 40+ books in the series, this was only my second book of the series and all can be read as a standalone.
Moose was exactly as the title stated, a solo rider. He was a nomad for the MC (although I really don’t know which MC - I don’t think it ever said). He was restless and agreed to help his MC as needed but never stayed in one place for too long. One night in route to wherever the road took him, he stumbled on trouble for a waitress behind a diner. Enter Daisy. Daisy was hard working and was trying to get by in the world the best she could. She did pretty well until her junkie brother continued to bring trouble on her doorstep. Once Moose stepped in she had an ally.
I’m a huge Atlas fan but didn’t enjoy this one as well as her many others. Although I liked both characters and the storyline, I was desiring more. Otherwise, it was a quick afternoon read with tons of action and steamy scenes....more

Although the first eight books don’t have to be read in order, the ninth book should be last followed by this novella. It will be worth it.
To be frank, I didn’t think I was going to like this book and I dreaded reading it. And once I started reading it, I was a bit prejudice and rolled my eyes at the first conflict, but I liked how it played out. And then the second conflict came almost immediately, and I was so mad at the antagonist that I could scream, but I couldn’t put it down. And I realized that I was loving this book so far. At that point I realized, I was going to really love this book - or really hate it. In my head, there was only one way that this could work well and I was intrigued, so I kept reading. And I eventually read this straight through in one sitting and I’m so glad I did.
In the end, I loved how everything fell into place. It was a bit over the top, but Browning fans will love it. No spoilers so no elaboration but it was the closing that I needed for the series and I can’t wait to see where Browning takes us next....more

I really enjoyed Cayden and Hadley, as well as the sibling, cousins, parents, aunt and uncle involvements. I also enjoyed the enemies to lovers constant quarreling as part of the storyline. However, as a novella it was really short and I desired more depth, detail and answers. The overall conflict was addressed and completed but there were minor details that were included but left unfinished. I wanted to know more detail and to have some of the gaps filled in. Otherwise, it was quick and enjoyable. I can’t wait to see more from the second generation. ...more

I really enjoyed both Noah and Bridgett. Noah was Aiden’s best friend (Until May) and Bridgett was Aiden’s sister. The storyline began in the middle of Aiden and May’s story. Noah was always sexy and his story didn’t disappoint. Bridgett needed a big redemption and I love the way Reynold’s handled it. I also love that Reynolds didn’t do the normal push and pull taboo storyline of a best friend’s sibling theme. Bridgett and Aiden also needed restoration and I loved how that was folded into the story as well. All in all, it was a great compliment to the series and a quick, fun, sexy and “good feels” read. ...more

It wasn’t necessary to have read the previous books in the series, although it made it even more enjoyable.
I’m taking a break from my normal review process at the moment but a few quick thoughts: Must Love Hockey was a cute, feel goods storyline. Bowen started out with humor in introducing James and Emily and quickly took us through their budding friendship with even more humor. I enjoyed both characters as well as how Bowen incorporated the team. I would have liked a full story versus a novella but with that said Bowen did a great job keeping my interest with enough detail, even as a short novella....more

A couple quick thoughts: I met Easton as Emerson’s twin in the Kings of Retribution MC series by Daniels and Alvarez, but it wasn’t necessary to have read that series first. I enjoyed Easton and Becca, they were both strong, confident and lovable characters. I also enjoyed the storyline. It was lighthearted, fun, simple, and a “good feels” storyline. There was some conflict, but it was still easy going and cheerful. All in all, it was a quick, easy read that was a perfect read sandwiched between dark heavy reads....more

It was originally written for an anthology and then released independently. Although not completely necessary, it was helpful to have read Bleed For It, book three.
We met Hawk and Laura in Axel and Yesnia’s story, Bleed For It. Laura was captured with Yesnia and rescued by Hawk. Beauty In It was the continuation of their story and demonstrated Laura’s resulting struggles and fears.
As a novella there wasn’t a ton of depth but there was meaning and it was deeply felt. I would have liked more of a backstory for Hawk, especially with Gramps. I loved them both immediately and it gave a wonderful glimpse into the man within Hawk.
Additionally, Camaron introduced a few new characters that may be part of the series or a spin off series. I look forward to hearing more about Marty and the Broken Spokes Sisters.
Beauty In It concluded as a happy for now theme and Camaron hinted that we may see a longer version in the future, which I would totally embrace. For now, it was a quick, well written and heartfelt story and I totally crave more! Next up for the series is Brave In It, bring it on!...more

Zephyr was a patched member of the MC with the typical single one night only, no commitment philosophy. Until Lynn. Lynn was a therapist that was introduced to the Kings through Queenie, book four, Midnight Wreckage. She had just enough crazy and drama within her to fit perfectly with the Kings Ol’ Ladies.
Livin’ on the Edge picked up exactly where the previous book ended and Travers merged the ongoing MC plot with Lynn’s family mess for a combined storyline. The plot was solid and entertaining but there were numerous editing errors such as incorrect words, misplaced words, incorrect tense, etc. Aside from the errors, the plot was enjoyable, suspenseful and entertaining.
All in all, it was a quick and fun afternoon read and a great segue into the next book, Blacktop Freedom....more

The series was a spinoff from their Baileys series; however, it was not necessary to have read the Baileys series first.
I loved the prequel and it set the stage for the series well. The series will ultimately be about the blended family children finding their mates but the authors gave us the parents first.
Hank Greene was the single father to five children (Cade, Adam, Xavier, Fisher and Chevelle) having tragically lost his wife to a freak accident. It had been five years, his children were growing and his high school crush moved back to town. Maybe it was time to look at things differently.
Marla McAlister-Greene was the divorced single mom to four children. Staying in the same town with her cheating ex was no longer fun so she hightailed it back to her hometown with her children (Jed, Nikki, Mandi and Posey) in tow to pick up the pieces again. Oh, and did you notice the Greene - yup, her ex was the cousin to Hank. Can you say awkward?!
True to form, the authors brought us a humorous tale. They also included a few life lessons along the way providing additional depth and dimension to the storyline. Ultimately, My Twist of Fortune was the foundation for the series and I totally fell in love with the unique personalities presented for both families. It looks like Cade is up first in My Beautiful Neighbor and I can’t wait!...more

The quick novella was a follow up to book one, Dump & Chase, focusing on Aiden Brooks and Shelli Adler. We knew from all previous books in the series (and Ice Cats cross over series) that Aiden and Shelli’s wedding was going to be the big event of the year. Shelli was definitely over the top and it only got worse as the wedding drew closer. But Shelli had been waiting for this moment her entire life and she wanted it perfect. And Aiden loved Shelli beyond his wildest dreams, so what Shelli wanted, Shelli got.
Aleo took us through the final stages leading to the wedding as well as some critical decisions regarding their future. She also graced us with appearances from all of our favorites within all three series. In the end, it was sweet, emotional and fun. ...more
