Pretty middle of the line this one, in my opinion.
While I could understand feeling betrayed etc, after a thorough explanation, I would think they might have possibly moved forward a bit les toxically than how they did.
I do love all the body positivity and just general acceptance of their world, like the fact that she's a sexworker doesn't matter, although I don't particularly love that she immediately stopped with that.
I can understand that people would not want to read their love interests have intercourse with others but if that's her job then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ now it feels kind of like she was just waiting for the right man(demon) to stop.
Anyway those are my main criticisms. I, like said before do love all the positivity about bodytypes, gender, sex and expression in any kind of way.

I like the fact that there's differences between humans and most aliens(even though they are little differences) , after it would be kinda bigheaded to assume aliens would look like us..
I mean, Jeez humans are pitiful, we have to wear clothes or the cold kills us or the sun fries us. We have no natural protection and our skin is delicate af, yeah in the grand scope of things we're quite a sad little species.
Oh well, philosophical musings aside, this was a fun read and I'll definitely read the others in this series.

This was weird but I liked it, although I do think that since they all follow a different couple, it would've been nice to get a bit more explanation /closing /etc for their specific part of the series.
I had trouble connecting with the fmc first since she seemed so unconnected to who she was but slowly I got to actually like her wacky ways of throwing crayons and death spells.
I do really wish we had a tad more backstory on them both. ...more

I read this immediately after foolish puckboy and while I liked reading about Gabe's work husband I didn't love this one.
Not to spoiler but to spoiler, I mainly didn't like that f*ck face abuser didn't get full karma, but oh well.
I noticed that my interest drifted a bit throughout this and I don't know what it was exactly that didn't pull me in as much as the other books they write together.

I absolutely sped trough this(sleep, what's that?) and am definitely feeling that now but oh well. The ending of this book was expected but also pissed me off enough that I'm not immediately going for book 3 because it feels like a very cheap, cheap way to progress the plot.
Not that this flimsy plot thing has stopped me from liking a ton of other books but it just annoyed me now. Also poor dragon, I just want him to have a happy little life you know, and it feels like he only gets more crap heaped on him, the poor thing. ...more

This was interesting and I like Rain and her friends, I at first didn't really like our mmc but he grew on me and now I'm rooting for them both.
The trees are cool, I like the tree magic part, also loved her demon cat, he was amazing.
I like her stance of, like, buddy, im too old for this sh*t, why go for me, pick someone less old, work, damaged etc.
