Whelp. Here I am, with more than a day since I've finished this book and it's still at the forefront of my brain. This book hit me so hard.
Don't get me wrong, I knew going in that this book would get me. I knew before I even picked it up that I would cry at the end of this book. What I didn't anticipate was exactly HOW MUCH I would cry. I was a wreck, even an hour afterwards, I was still crying.
The characters and their growth was honestly so great. It was done so well and I loved seeing how this all played out, no matter how heartbreaking this book was....more

I’m definitely a sucker for anything set in Victorian era London. That time period was fascinating considering it really wasn’t all that long ago.

For some reason I think I always manage to block out the fact that Usagi is such a cry baby but reading through the manga and seeing some of those scenes, it all came back to me. I missed her and all these characters! I'm so excited to go through these and read them all now! My library has them all, so it'll happen here soon....more
