This story followed a penguin. Readers are reminded that peeing in your pants can happen at any place even in school. There are many ways to hold in your pee like crossing your legs or sitting very still. This book gives tips on how to do it the right way. There are a few ways.. if the pee couldn't be held in and it happened, you could create a distraction to keep everyone's attention away from you. All the ways to hide are funny. One best way is saved at the end of the book! Loved the illustrations!

This story followed Terri, the Triceratops. Terri hatched from an egg so she's new to all of the sounds around her. She's learning what all of those sounds were and wondering what her sound sounds like. There were stomp stomp, chirp chirp, rustle rustle, kaw kaw, cheeep cheeep, hiss hiss, and more. Terri went on an adventure learning about sounds and who it belonged to. Readers learned of different dinosaurs and how to pronounce their names. Until at the end Terri ran into Tyrannosaurus and she heard herself scream. Great colorful book and illustrations!
I like the details of each dinosaur at the end of the book and life on earth timeline.

I liked that the main character was clever. Tress was poor and her job was window washing. She also was good at baking pies. I liked her dad. He was poor in money but rich in favors. He did things for others without mentioning it or taking payment but when he needed something, everyone hurried to help.
Tress is friends with the Duke's son but he pretended to be the gardener so that he could hang out with her because otherwise he couldn't. When the Duke noticed their friendship grew closer, he took the family away from the area in search of a wife for his son. At farewell, Tress asked him not to get married and he tried his best not to by being a bored to any woman he meets. His dad came back with a different heir and said that his son was taken by the sorcerer as a punishment for his disobedience to the Duke. Tress wanted to rescue him.
Tress has never known anywhere else except where she lives. It's a challenge to take on this adventure. But Tress likes to think and make plans. She's handy and able to put herself to work in any situation. The other characters were great. I liked Huck and some twists as well as some humor. This YA fantasy book has no romance so any kids can read it.

This story followed the little doctor and his dog. His patients are fairytale characters. He drove his car with holes on the roof around town treating different patients. One patient was, as readers knew as Cinderella. She was out dancing all night with the Prince in tiny slippers and when she got home, her feet hurt. Another patient, readers knew as Rapunzel. Her head hurts because she had to let her hair down for her mom and the Prince to climb up to the tower. Another patient was the wolf from the 3 little pigs. He climbed down the chimney, but the 3 little pigs had a boiling pot and he got hurt. The little boy doctor went to visit many patients and the sky turned to rain. The roof of his car has holes and he was soaked through. That night he got sick so his patients came to visit him and took care of him. Loved this story and illustrations!

I enjoyed this story mostly through audiobook. I did go back to read parts of the book and to look at all of the illustrations. I liked the illustrations. This story is quite unique and unlike any stories I have read. I need to start looking at Goodreads before starting a new book because once again I have read book 2 before book 1. I liked that Marta is clever.
This story followed a little girl named Marta. Her mom cleans the hotel rooms during the day while she wanders and keeps quiet. Her dad was away at war. She wonders about him. One day an old lady who called herself a countess and her parrot arrived at the hotel. Despite Marta tried to stay hidden, the countess and her bird taken a liking to Marta and invited Marta to her room. The countess wanted to tell many stories to Marta. And so each day, Marta visit the countess's room. The stories led to an unexpected and surprise ending.

She got mad and the page of the book opened out very long to express how mad she felt. Her dad was mad at her too for having attitude. The next page she slammed the door. She didn't like being mad and attempted to do many activities to get her mind out of being mad. She count, she did cartwheels, she drew, and more. After that she felt sad but when she's feeling down, her dad came to make her feel better. So in the end, she thought her dad wasn't so bad. A cute story. Definitely one for Father's Day! Great illustrations!

Took us 5 times to get it right. Super fun story to read. We laughed a lot. We read it again a week later and my toddler got it the first try! If you are new to this story, you will have so much fun!
This story asked you many questions and if you answered Yes, then you will have to start the story again from the beginning. Mr. Fox invited you to play a game. The game is to answer No to every question. When you are new to this game, the questions will get you! Questions such as, "Do you wear any underwear?" "Do you like pizza?" "Do you see any ice cream on my face?" "Do you know what Y-E-S spelled?" Mr. Fox talked to readers so it's an interactive story. Excellent read and illustrations.

A rhyming Christmas story with lots of bunnies. The elves somehow aren't working but instead eating lots of candies and were sick from it. The bunnies took over the job of the elves to help Santa deliver Christmas presents. The bunnies were excited for the job. They went down the chimney and were covered in soot. Couldn't tell one bunny apart from the others but my toddler could by some of their clothes. The trip to deliver Christmas gifts was chaotic. The sleigh almost crashed onto the clock tower but they were able to avoid it except they landed on the Christmas tree instead and all of their presents fell out. They were still able to up and continue the journey. A fun read and illustrations!

The characters are well written. I liked their stories and backgrounds.

The organization of this book is cool, especially the chapter titles. Definitely makes books about books I love the narrator just like everyone else.
The organization of this book is cool, especially the chapter titles. Definitely makes books about books extra special. The start of the book has some humor about writers which was funny to me.
This story introduced a new main character, Anna. Interesting to know Anna. She's a survivor. Sometimes she was caught in bad situations, but she able to survive it.
It's good to read the previous book to understand the mystery unraveling in this book.
I enjoyed the story within the story. The story of Anna, I enjoyed part 3 more than other parts. Anna has a mystery unraveling of her own and it connects to the previous book. It caught up with her in this book because she became an author. After her book was published, she began traveling to promote her book and some people recognized her.. snippets of her past showed up to catch her attention and she began to investigate. As she investigated, she felt horror and ready to do just about anything to protect herself and her past.
This duology is definitely interesting and the organization of the stories are unique.

Great audiobook! The narrator pulled me into the story. The story was good. I enjoyed the letters written to ask for advice including those from Lost Great audiobook! The narrator pulled me into the story. The story was good. I enjoyed the letters written to ask for advice including those from Lost Girl, which she made up for the alternating POV. Alex's story was okay, I'm not sure why she play detective in searching for the killer of the unsolved columnist's death. Alex should have more than one suspect to search for clues. Especially when she seems like she had something to hide, she couldn't ignore that someone was out to get her, but instead she focused on finding the dead columnist's killer instead. That gun shot rang out and I don't know what happened to "her". It's up to readers conclusions and I hope for leniency because she was as much a victim of his manipulation.
The story started with an advice columnist. Her sudden death. Still unsolved. Almost a year later, readers met Alex. She's living under the radar. Working from home. Having secrets. Not in contact with anyone who knows her. Then the advice column is in need to hire a new replacement. Alex decided to give a try and got offered the job!
Alex decided to celebrate but a guy at the bar harassed her and readers just found out one of her secrets. Unfortunately, that secret doesn't get revealed until the end of the book.

She wanted to see what other people will answer before she gave her answer to her grandfather. The question was, "What's between your hands when you namaste the world?" The painter across the street answered Truth. Maya's babysitter Jubilee answered Justice. Maya's dance teacher answered Mercy. And more. Maya thought her little hands couldn't do much, but after asking around, she realized her little hands could do something after all. Great story and illustrations!

Luckily, their mom just landed her dream job and they're to move into a neighborhood among other people. Herbert licked his lips because people sounded delicious to him. Libby reminded Herbert that he shouldn't eat people. Herbert loved the neighborhood because it's very clean. Everyone looked tasty to Herbert and he couldn't help himself. He bit the boys and girls without thinking. After that, everyone kept a distance from him.
