As I wrote in the review of Alien Overnight, this series is truly a “Sci-fi, naughty erotica”, but it is really also a very “meaty” story with a lot of substance. Lots of sex scenes, but also very depthy characters with tragic pasts and ambiguous futures. The Sci-Fi elements descriptions are also very good.
If you thought that Monica, Kellen and Shauss from Alien Overnight would live together for ever, you are mistaken. Shauss always felt like the third wheel in the relationship and Monica was not submissive enough for his taste. Also Kellen was too Alpha for his taste.
Jasmine King is a Terran (human) with a lethal secret. In the previous book she was almost raped by Shauss when he wanted to interrogate her. She should hate him, instead she is crazy in lust for him.

What I really loved was the fact that Jasmine saved Shauss after she disobeyed him. Strong girl :)...more

As I realised later on, when I finished second book “Enemy Overnight”, the action actually continues from book 2. Shelley’s crazy -but dead now husband- almost destroyed the Garatyani ship. Pregnant Shelley becomes stressed enough and she has to give birth to her twins before she returns to Earth.
The problem is that the twins now according to the Garathani law belong to Garathani and if she wants to keep them, she needs to marry the leader of the ship and his second -if his wishes to have a second.
So, how things can become more complicated? -Shelley becomes Cecine's mate and nobody informs her about it. -Hastion steps in and requires to become Cecine's second because Shelley trusts him. -Cecine demands Hastion's total submission until Shelley is ready to accept him. -Hastion has too much fun with Cecine, but he doesn't want to admit it because he is embarrassed. -Cecine is full of internal scars and he has difficulties letting either Shelley or Hastion see the real him. As a result he behaves like a total prick. Until he breaks.
I loved the way these three individuals’s love develops. The book of course is hot. If you like Sci-Fi erotica that it is very well written and includes MMF menage, I would recommend this book.

You are possibly inside a spaceship that has crashed on this frozen planet 4. Blue big weird looking blue humanoids with horns try to explain to you that you are safe. 5. Some other human girls in furs insist that these huge blue guys are actually the “rescue team”. 6. Then you have to accept a disgusting parasite inside you in order to survive the cold otherwise you will die. 7. Oh and you are also pregnant! You are absolutely sure that you were not pregnant when you went to bed and now you are not even sure which year exactly you went to bed. And you are not sure what is this thing growing inside you.
Not only this...but also imagine two big red identical guys following every step of you, stalking you when you go for a walk, watching you when you are eating and never talking to you.

Vordis is one of the red guys that follow her around. He has been created and grown in order to be a gladiator and a slave. Same like his brother. He has not learn to think and act independently. And he also knows that his life is entwined with the human girl. He needs to protect her.

Gail is human and his pleasure mate. She is over fifty, so there is no chance for resonance and for children for her as well. Gail hasn't had an easy life before she met Vasa. Her son in Earth was killed, she got divorced and later on she was kidnapped and sold as a slave in space. Vasa is the best thing that had happened to her and he makes her feel very special.
They are happy and in love, but there is something missing. They would love to have a baby. When they learn that there is an orphan baby among the newcomers from the island, they decide to adopt him.
Gail will be thrilled in the beginning, but later on she will realise that it is not easy to have a difficult baby again. She will need lots of patient, lots of love and there may be a chance to give the baby the stability that he needs. Thankfully Vasa is an amazing mate and he will be there for her all the time....more

Although this is a very well written book, it is definitely my least favourite story that takes place in the blue barbarians universe.
And the one simple reason for this is the main character, Willa. I couldn't stand her at all from the beginning of the book until the end. I found her behaviour unnecessarily neurotic to the point that I had to discard many book pages in order to avoid her internal battle to accept other people's kindness and tolerance for her senseless and illogical behaviour. She was even considering very hard whether she should thank them for the selfless help that they offered to her and her mate. Sometimes she didn't even bother say "thank you". I couldn't tolerate all this ingratitude!
Even the book "Barbarian's Beloved" that featured a girl with medical anxiety issues was less frustrating that this book.
What saved the story: 1. The big blue sweethearts who were giving help and forgiveness so freely and without thinking and without expecting anything in return. 2. Veronica who keeps maturing and becoming important for the continuation of the story of the ice planet as a whole. She fits in the big picture nicely. (I also adore her dragon) 3. Brooke that offers Willa the correct advice and thank God somehow Willa starts getting what is going on around her. ...more

This is another book that I enjoyed very very much from this series. Actually this book may be considered a crossover with the Fireblood Dragon series.
The main character, Ashtar, is a dragoni. Unlike the fierce dragons in the Fireblood series that have conquered Earth, Ashtar is very reserved and not that crazy. He was stolen when he was 8 years old, his wings had been clipped and thus he cannot fly when he transforms into a dragon and the slavers made him a gladiator. Ashtar had changed a lot of masters until he ended up at the ice planet.
Veronica is the most plain girl. Plain looks, a plain job back in Earth, plain personality. And she is a klutz. So, when this golden alien guy starts courting her, she does not understand whether he is making fun of her or if he is serious.
I was glad with the events of this book as Veronica realises that she is not as plain as she thinks. She is important and special and she will help many people in this book and I imagine in the next books.
Ashtar is not friendly at all in the beginning. He does not trust easily and he cannot stand other males. Maybe by the end of the book, he will make some friends and he will be able to fly again. Veronica will do her best to help him.
Since Ashtar is a virgin, he does not really know how to approach his woman and he is very hesitant in the beginning. This causes many many funny scenes and dialogues.
"What if the females invite us to mate them?" "Then you may mate them." He rubs his brow. "What if…" one of the a'ani begins, sitting up straighter. "What if one trips and falls and lands upon my cock? Can I mate her if she is on me?" This seems like a valid question. I look at the leader. For some reason, he has both of his hands over his face. "No," he says flatly. "No one will trip and fall upon your cock." "They might," I add. "You never know."
Hahahahahahahahahaha...once more the humorous scenes are incredible.
Well, Ashtar may lack in experience, but he is overenthusiastic. Veronica soon will be enthralled by him.

I enjoyed the book very much. The story of Ariana and Zolaya takes us back to the beginning, when the human girls were discovered and saved by the blue aliens. Ariana was the girl who could not stop crying. She was a bit annoying because not enough explanations were given for her constant misery. Ariana was also one of the first girls who resonated. And she was not comfortable with this in the beginning.
Now we realise that actually Ariana had and still has a medical condition. Her anxiety was treated with medication and meditation back in Earth, but now she has to be strong without any doctor's help.
Zolaya is an amazing mate. Patient, understanding and sweet. He will offer her exactly what she needs: stability, time, love, her own pace, tenderness. He was a virgin when they resonated, but he will catch up quickly like all the blue Barbarians.
Together they will create a beautiful home and a family, living a simple life.
The events in the book take place in two time periods: 1. When everything started about 8 years ago 2. Now when Ariana expects her second child and Zolaya is far away at the shore helping the newcomers.

I actually thought that underneath all the violence this is a very sweet love story. Lone wanted someone to share his life with since he was born and his twin brother died during birth. Lizabeth, the expert on Kindred law, was never lucky with men – especially men much younger than her. She has been betrayed by her young lover and she has been betrayed by her much older husband later.
When Lone, her much younger assistant, helps her after the terrorist attack at the mothership; two things happen: 1. Lone finally has sexual desires for her. And this is something that he never thought that he would experience since he lost his brother. 2. Lizabeth feels very embarrassed .
Lizabeth Paige was mortified. “Mortified,” she muttered aloud to herself. “To be caused extreme embarrassment, humiliation, shame, discomfort, and distress.” Never had a definition fit better.
I always feel sympathy for women who feel embarrassed around the men who desire, so I think I liked Lizabeth from the beginning. Truth is that there will be many times that she will feel embarrassed in the book and she will try to fight the symptoms of her illness alone and she will try to prove that she is a strong woman who does not need anyone.
Thankfully Lone is a very stubborn male. So when the sexual needing comes, he will help her without listening to her protests; -when she is forced to act against her shy nature at The Tower of the Higher Mind, he will be there to support her; -when the Friezens, the planet savages, choose her for their sacrifice, he will see red and avenge her; -when she needs healing, he will provide it for her no matter how many times she will deny him.

Complicated alien worlds, BDSM erotica and the dynamics of two aliens with issues like “who is the boss", “who is the slave and who is the master", “is the love that I feel for you real or is it just mind games and chemical reactions", “I complain every time you dominate me but I secretly enjoy it".
Somewhere in the middle a girl tries to understand where she fits in this relationship.
I loved this world and I am very happy because the second book in this series “Righteous Fury" (starring Laaruu, another Paatiin, and Kim, Raven's friend...I wonder if Saazeer, Daagiis’ ex-lover will be the second Male character...) will be released in 2019....more

So Bri is abducted by evil aliens and she is thrown in a fake environment like a zoo where she is expected to breed with a number of huge alien males.
Hirachi males are also enslaved. Their females will be killed and they are expected to breed these tiny human girls. Hirachi alien race are warriors and very proud. They hate that they are enslaved. So far they have been killing their offspring, so that they will not be slaves too. The human girls will change their mentality. The children need to live. And Hirachi and humans need to escape.
I loved how the relationship between Bri and the two Hirachi (Kole and Dansk) develops. Also the relationship between Bri and the rest human girls will not be smooth all the time. Her sensitivity and love for the Hirachi babies is the most important part of the book for me. ...more

Still it was nice seeing Dawson and Bethany falling in love no matter their cultural differences and the negative comments and actions by their family and friends.
Dawson is a sensitive sweetheart and he absolutely knows what he wants. Bethany is quite nice. The book made me understand her better. She is ready to fight for her love.
Daemon is the old grumpy self before he meets Katy and realises that humans are not that bad. Evil laugh here because I know what will happen to him and how much he will change.
Probably if you have read the next books, you will feel sorry for characters that won't have much future left. There will be glimpses of most of the main characters of the next books.
If you haven't read the next books, expect a huge cliff-hanger in the end. And you will be probably be hooked. Otherwise you know how this continues :) ...more

Raff is Cathian's cousin and obviously he is Tryleskian as well. Only as we realise he is not one hundred per cent Tryleskian. Taking a lot from his mother's biological race, his mating process is somehow different and his anatomy is completely different.
Moreover unlikely Cathian's childhood, he did not have an easy life as a kid. That was the reason that he visits G4, an unfriendly dangerous planet and his childhood home, to get his revenge. A revenge that he vowed to have. There he realises that the person he wanted to kill is not longer available and alive. Instead Raff manages to save a pretty small human girl, Lilly.
Lilly wanted to visit space, seek adventure and meet many aliens. Unfortunately alien pirates have abducted her and she was on her way as a pleasure slave, until the cat-man saves her. Raff and Lilly will try to stay alive at G4 until Vorge returns and rescue them. Perfect opportunity for some interesting mating. ...more

Sentorr, the navigator of the ship, is the only unmated member left and he is not happy. He misses the old days: When only him and his blue brothers in arms (pirates and thieves more precisely) were the ship's crew.
Moreover he is not sure that he like the fact that the ship is full of Earth girls. They look and behave very weird. He would definitely prefer a nice Mesakkah female for himself. Tall, familiar and elegant.
And he may have found it.
Zoe is the female navigator of another pirate ship, “Little Sister”. She and her three Mesakkah brothers travel in space at the same lines as the “Lovesick Fool". She is lonely and a workaholic.
Zoe and Sentorr will find each other and talk for months although they will never see each other. They will be firstly friends, but later on they will start developing feelings for each other. That is the main reason Sentorr preferred to spend his nights in front of his monitor.
When Sentorr suggests they should meet, Zoe denies him insisting that she is too ugly. What she hasn't told him is that she is human. She knows that Sentorr does not like humans.
As you have realised one day they will meet. Sentorr will need to save Zoe and her brothers from a trap and finally he will realise that his Zoe is a human girl. And that will not stop him from claiming her!
This is a bit different story from the previous three in the series. Zoe will not be saved and she will not have any trauma from her days as a slave. Raised as a Mesakkah , she doesn't like that she is a weak, weird looking human and she thinks that she no good match for the goodlooking Sentorr. Very interesting approach I have to say (me giggling...).
This is basically the concluding story of the Fool ship. But as it was announced Zoe's brothers will also have their stories....more
