Fire Chief Jack and Chester hit it off and then Chester needs to heal. When Oscar, the ex, shows up all "lovey dovey," he tries to force his BDSM on Chester, which causes confusion to the doctors and Jack. How can Oscar have a power of attorney?
Chester tried to tell some folks the issues they had, but Jack was angry to have been flirted with, if Chester was still married. Chester had to tell his shameful tale.
After the truth, Jack and Chester had super sexy times, and Chester has what h's always wanted. Chester is making his home now, and getting his place renovated the way he wants it.
Later, things are good for Chester and Jack, but when the ex attacks, and the firehouse dog, Arson, a Dalmatian, bites Oscar. [image] The guys aren't communicating and confusion is there again. Jack is determined to fix this and gets help. The balcony scene is awesome !
Chester is kidnapped, and the big turnout show Oscar his justice. What they find at Oscar's house is horrible. We get terrific characters, exciting tales, and heartwarming conclusions in this series. These are novellas that are simply, fun !

Marc, a Deputy in Cade Creek, who comes to the rescue, and sees something in Happy, no one else has. [image] We open with Happy sneaking into his Mom's room so they can be together. Happy rescues her, and then in the present, Happy is at work at Gus's store, where Happy is being harassed by two jerks. Marc answers the 911 call and meets Happy.
Intrigued, he wants to know Happy better. Marc asks Happy and his Mom to go to the market, and begins to talk with him and get closer. After Happy's grandfather escapes a prison bus, the search is on, because he'll be after Happy and his Mom.
Our two men are kissing and then more, as Marc explains things to sheltered virgin, Happy. Marc is patient, understanding and caring, plus Marc's protective nature takes over. The horrible grandfather shows up, there's more going on than anyone knew. [image] It's tense, suspenseful, bloody and violent. We get gunshots, rescue, injuries and confusion. I needed tissues, and I also was furious about the abuse.
There's lots of action, and love, to go around, with a heartwarming finale, too. ENJOY !

This is my first Addison Albright book, and I'll be reading more. The wonderful characters are bright, easy going and steady. The story is busy and holds our interest throughout, plus these guys are so sexy together. With the slow changes taking place in their minds, as they move on to be partners in this new life changing event, we get to see their sexy, erotic times get more emotional and adventurous. [image]
The marvelous tale has just the right amount of tension and happiness for our reading pleasure. These guys really made an impression. Great stuff !

When Hector discovers a person living in his basement, [image] some questions get answered, and others are brought up. Will, younger man who is a sad and afraid, [image] an ex-paramedic is hiding with no where to go. We learn our guy's pasts, and the sad tale of Happy, who we've met in previous stories, and Happy's horrible basement treatment.
Hector and Will are attracted and soon find themselves in bed together. First time sex for Will, which Hector doesn't find out until after, but he's glad about it. They sizzle together and each man deserves that excitement, emotional connection, and ecstasy.
* Their sex scene is one of the best I've read ! Just the right amount of everything !
The mysteries and questions get answered, and there's a break-in and gunfight.
I love the characters and stories by Stormy Glenn. She gives us gritty, exciting, sweet, heartwarming tales with lots of super sexy times.

I know the covers are different from most, but inside... the meat of the writing contains some of the most compelling tales ever. Be sure to have tissues ready. We met 6' 9" tall, Happy, [image] a mentally challenged man we met in previous tales, as we learned about his tragic childhood. He's come a long way and is with Deputy Sheriff, sweet Marc. [image] Here we find a deep tale of abuse and it's generational culmination of murder. A 5 yr. old girl is then all alone, and traumatized. Marc rescues her and he and Happy will foster her, but then a horrible relative comes along. The beautiful folks in Cade Creek "circle the wagons" like they do in a western, to protect the girl and Happy. [image] I cried, I sighed, and was completely absorbed in this short, stunning book. It's not hard to grasp Happy's inner thoughts and memories, as the author gives us a realistic feeling for him. He and Marc are perfect together, and the hot as hell sexy times are amazing. [image] Readers of this fabulous set of stories will be thrilled with this book. It can stand alone, as any of this series can, but I'm glad I know the back history of each character.

**** Wow, I got so much more than I expected !**** He's from the Marine Corps to Sheriff, John Henry Harrison [image] gets a call from dispatch about a disturbance on a farm. When he arrives there's a man with a rifle, holding off four people yelling at him. With Charlie's calm demeanor and strength, he draws John Henry's attention. A Marine Commander, Charlie, blonde [image] and green eyed is beautiful; he's making a home for himself and two small children, plus a few of his Special Ops men. This is a tender love story that happens quickly. There is lots of sizzling sexiness and an action packed twisty tale that will keep you attention. The two men are drawn together, they fit, and their needs are mutual. They're opposites; dark hair to light, big muscles to lean and toned. After a break in, the men are together more as John Henry and Charlie's Unit are remodeling the house so it's ready when the kids arrive. We see a car chase, a sniper, murder attempts, a drug lord and tons of excitement. [image]

This tender tale show how much some workers truly care about the children they help. It shows us a terrible situation these users and abusers put themselves in, where they have no concept of normal. I loved the differences in these guys. This series has a lot of large/small couples and the Rescue For Hire West Team is solid and devoted.
