Finnley/Owl/Finn, 31, light brown hair, styled, hazel eyes, shorter, runs the Hollins Funeral Home once his Dad passes. Aven, chocolate brown eyes, olive skin, tall and lean, has a Latino father. He is drawn to Finnley while making funeral plans.
Finnley's Dad has died and he's filling in right away. Aven comes in to arrange his step-father's funeral. He didn't like the step-dad, but he does like Finnley, and flirts a bit. Afterward, he asks to take Finnleyy to dinner, and he agrees, and from there they have more dinners and time together.
Finnley must finally tell Aven his secret of his debilitating insomnia caused by a fear of falling asleep. This was instilled into him when he was eight years old. Ever since, his nights are tortuous. My problem was that he, Finn, an adult, didn't seek help and it worsened and spiraled out of control.
It wasn't until later when Aven helped him, and therapy was brought about.
He and Aven are not what I expected, and didn't seem to fit, but later on, it was obvious they were good together. Their sexy times were steamy and exciting.
It's a different story of overcoming a fear, and the process was going to be continuing.

Spencer was visiting a friend at the ranch, when Nash dislocated his shoulder, but Spencer had a soft touch. Big plans are going on for the rescue center, very exciting. They meet again when Spencer needs a plumber, Nash was below getting his car fixed, and volunteered to fix it.

At the Jasper Lodge, it was at the rehearsal dinner for Easton's sister, where keen eyes focused on the lone diner that their encounter ends in a breathtaking kiss. Lachlan is in town to buy Easton's property and build condos, and the answer is a resounding NO !
Lachlan sticks around, the two men are attracted, and we anticipate the hotness they may spark together, but it hasn't happened and other issues are in play. The local newsman is an ass and was spurned by East years ago, so his articles are personal vendettas.
We have East taking care of a sweet boy, Percy, 8, whose Dad is a drunk, and we also have drama with the teen vandals. Gossips are busy, Lachlan goes home, but comes back a month later. I liked that these guys didn't hop into bed right away, and waited until later on.
During chores the talked more, told stories, explained how they got to where they are in life. Much is going on and a stack of surprises . This is a thought-filled story, sexy and passionate, with humor, banter, great characters and gripping at times.

Plus the 2 kidnappings, cruel beatings, attempted murder and more violence, with dogs, and more going on. [image] Between the attacks and discussions with reporters and elders, we have deep feelings our MCs, as they have for each other, including their hot sexy times.
Seth rescues Jacob, and the final protestors vs. the hired goons, puts Seth into a PTSD episode of a flashback from war he experienced. [image] These two belong together. The protestors have a partial victory, with more to come.

We begin at the Campo Royale Club, GiGi/Eli, married to Tyr, the Hockey player, is being threatened. We revisit "Mother" and the Campo cast of queens, who hire security to keep Eli safe until the bad guy, stalker, named the Birdman, is finally found.
I noticed the mystery right away, and was looking forward to this story. Keaton and Duri are starry-eyed for each other on sight. They flirt, and Keaton meets the family.
Things change when GiGi and Duri are invited to compete in Seattle contest across the country. Keaton must be diligent and protect GiGi/Eli, and will also get time to spend with the beautiful Asian man.
Duri hasn't known a single man that has ever treated him as special as Keaton does. Duri's self esteem is low, but slowly, Keaton proves his sincerity with words and deeds. Their sexiness is exciting and passion-filled, with deep caring, which Duri has never had before. [image] They watch Anime together, have similar tastes in movies and music. The trip itself was not calm, they are busy, and find that the "Birdman" has followed them.

Lucas, a movie star, is lonely, has a stalker, and comes to the home town to hide out and get away from his hectic life, but mostly he's there because his father is dying.
At the hospital he sees a man and kids leaving his father's room, and he knows the man. Matthew is now the guardian to his sister's kids after she died. Matthew and the kids, it turns out, know the elder man, Grandpa Adam, who is also Lucas's aloof father.
They begin talking, hanging out and the stalker has followed him home. Lucas is all about Matthew and the children's safety. His Security gal is Rachel, and she's great!
Their time together and talks have brought them close, and every minute is precious. Deep thoughts, real life issues and decisions all need attention.
The children are terrific characters, too. We see planning and re-planning, with new information that solves some problems, and then find new issues.

He has horses, Llamas, goats and chickens. Ben knew Sierra from the Army, and she went to him to have her baby adopted.
Sterling gets stuck in a thunder snow, where he swerves and gets a flat. He's helped by the man he come to find. Ben brings him home to his ranch and Sterling helps with chores, gets to know Ben and Xavier, but keeps his knowledge a secret.
We see lots of talks, chores, diapers and coziness. The two men take advantage of their proximity and true attraction to have a night of sexy times that's hot and satisfying.
Soon Sterling must spill his story and Ben gets his hackles up. Even longer conversations follow, and both calm down, trying to get along, go to an Escape Room fun night, a Train ride, dinners, hanging out and have more sexy time. Sterling does some important things in town, he's so giving and nice.
Later we get chaos when the media and TV folks go too far with invasive photos and stalking. Sterling's security team jump into immediate action. No harm will come to Ben and Xavier.
Carson and Geoff are taking charge and all are moved to the Aspen ranch. Ben meets the family, including the big man, Papa, Silver's Dad.
While things are being handled, Ben and Sterling find tome to talk more, use the "L" word and make plans.
This is another wonderful tale by this amazing author. I've read every book! Is it feasible?, probably not, but it IS entertaining as it could be !
It's fun and heartwarming, and I recommend it highly. ENJOY !

The two men find out they are comfy in each other's company, while Lee asks yes or no questions, until they are more accustomed to each other. Gradually we see these two guys get close. Lee is busy planning the wedding decorations and bachelor party. Then when Hank is sent to pick up the items, it's to Lee's family home ! He's so happy to see Lee and vice versa. Paul, brown hair dyed teal, [image] tattooed arms, slim and has stubble, with fairy features. hazel eyes and dimples. He must contend with his Dad's horrible brother, Uncle Jerry.
The two men remember well their days in school. We get flashbacks of Paul's childhood, the violence and hate from his Dad and Uncle. Both were mean through and through.
Paul must go to the police to evict Uncle Jerry from his Dad's house. There he sees Sam and because they are good friends, and Paul will be staying with Sam for now, other officers go to get the Uncle. Problem is, the Uncle assaults Paul [image] when he goes to the house. The uncle is arrested again.
Sam helps Paul get the restraining order, which the Uncle breaks with graffiti and broken glass, etc. on the house, inside and out. That Uncle is a vile and hateful man.
Later, once safe, our two men get together every night with hot sexy times and passion. A second chance at loving each other. They work together on the house, but once again it's damaged. [image] Finally the police have enough evidence to arrest the Uncle, but Paul does something stupid, as he goes to the house and falls prey again. It's a kidnapping and beating, with rescue on the way.
The characters are terrific and the story is action packed and moves quickly.
Our MCs say the "L" word after the rescue, and justice is served.

This is my first book from Joy Danvers and I liked it very much.

George Lester aka a real [image] Duke in England, a tall, red-haired ginger man, is on a vacation from his "Duke of Northumber" for a month to feel free and make plans. Instead of San Francisco, he ends up in a blizzard in Wyoming, with a cute dog and her puppies. [image] Alan Justice, a tall, blue eyed, [image] brown haired "stud-ly cowboy." He finds the stranger and brings him home to the ranch. Plus, is the heir to the Cattle Ranch when his Dad died, so his Mom and brother are there also, and his brother is off to college soon.
After the rescue, mama dog and pups are well and cared for, and George helps a horse deliver her colt. There are many more things happening, but you'll have to read them, and you'll be happy with your discoveries. [image] Our MCs have a rocky start, but George quickly earned his keep. He stayed longer as an extra hand, and soon shared Alan's bed. George fit right in, got a bump on the head and healed, too. He learned much at the ranch, and when they found out about his Duke title, Alan was mad.
George explained his own predicament at home, and he doesn't want the responsibility in England, because he nearly has his Veterinarian business, which is what Alan's brother will be doing. [image] I loved the MCs, and Alan is a M/M virgin for some things, and they enjoy their sexy hot times. The story is amazing and the opposites are truly linked. George had to go back, and Alan, later travels to England to settle their hearts.
The epilogue is a couple of years out and fantastic.

They are getting to know each other better, working side by side on Jesse's refurbishing of his cabin. Isaac has a problem at work with two nurses, women, suing him for harassment, and Jesse is by his side. The men are happy, but are afraid the other has doubts, and to avoid heartbreak, stop seeing each other. MISTAKE ! I cried with Isaac. Deep emotions, amazing characters, this is well written with descriptions we can feel. I love a Lynn Stark story; she always has an underlying message with depth, caring, understanding, plus acceptance and tolerance. Staying friends helped the men, but the longing was killing them. Each has time to think, struggle with their thoughts, [image] and each comes up with a plan to win their man back. That's where the leather "get-up" came into play! Jesse had his own surprises. Great characters, and the dog is terrific. Our men meet when Dash's house goes up in flames, and Taffy is saved by Stone. Dash knows he didn't start the fire, but who did?
He has no where to go, until Stone invites him home and help. The men eventually sizzle in bed, and otherwise they get Dash's life back a bit at a time.
We have the mystery of the arsonist, and when another place has the same type of clues, Dash is questioned again. We get deep conversations, thought-filled times, caring, and solutions. Luckily, Dash can use his computer skills to help find the bad guy.
