Four friends (Connie, Jonas, Layla, JJ) at the last day of universty promised each other that they always look out for one another. Now after fifteen years, they are still friends. Connie and Jonas are with each other and have two girls. Connie was an ex-journaist and now she is a stay-at-home mum. Jonas is a criminal solicitor. His job is all consuming and sressfull. He had worked so hard to get where he was now and he still was ambitious. Layla is a therapist. Her mother is ill and she has no one other than Layla to look after her. She can't have a real life for herself between caring for her mother and her job. JJ is a personal trainer and a womanizer. They all have their own secrets, demons to fight, struggling with life, and fighting with the darkness within themselves, so when they fall…
I think this was my first read in the Women’s Fiction category and I really enjoyed it! This story was more about family and friendship, that sometimes your friends are all you have, the only family you have, the ones you can trust and rely on. Hmmm, this book made me think if one day I fell, who’s gonna take my hand!?!?! Told in multiple POV, 3rd person. It’s a standalone novel, well-written, well-paced with well-developed characters, and quite an intense and emotional read. Overall, loved it and hope you enjoy it as well!

First of all, you see that title? Well, that “Diary” wasn’t really important and wasn't useful really! Second, the story itself was so repetitive, and asking repetitive questions over and over without revealing anything was on my nerves (in a bad way)! And it was a bit over the top, in my opinion! I’m not saying it was that bad, but it wasn’t really good either! Told in single POV, 1st person. Overall, it was an okay read for me and I hope you like it more than me!

Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the third installment in the "Lock and Key" series and should be read in order. Nothing happened here, only sex and sex and more sex. I don’t even know what was the point of writing this story! It was boring, slow, and so sweet. It was supposed to be a quick read, but I spent so much time on it! Overall, it didn’t work out for me but I hope you enjoy it more than me!...more

This book disappointe3 Stars Told mostly in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the second installment in the "Blue-eyed Monsters" and should be read in order. This book disappointed me a bit. The ending was completely rushed. I wish to see how Micah got arrested, albeit this wasn’t enough for me. (view spoiler)[I wish he would have been captured by Joshua and seen his torturing for what he did to Tamara. (hide spoiler)] Tamara here is stronger and Joshua is getting soft. Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the first installment in the "Blue-eyed Monsters" series and ends on a cliffhanger. This is a new to me author and I enjoyed the story. Joshua is a real @sshole. Passing for human doesn’t come naturally to him. He is terrifying. People are afraid of him! He doesn’t understand the meaning of “love”, he only knows that Tamara is intriguing him so he must have her, then he can experience other things with her. After all, if he loved her would he enjoy hurting her so much? With all the things he does to Tamara, he still doesn’t want her to go away or be taken away. He wants her to be his toy and he always gets what he wants, his needs must come first always.
He intends to break her down and make her into what he wants. And he breaks her beautifully but what if he only thinks that he has achieved his goal and in reality something else happens?! Because Tamara's hatred for Joshua fuels her and gives her strength and purpose!
Overall, it was a good read, and hope you enjoy it as well but proceed with caution!...more
Told in multiple POV, both in 1st & 3rd person, it can be read as a standalone novel. I like the topics this author chose for her stories. Th3.5 Stars
Told in multiple POV, both in 1st & 3rd person, it can be read as a standalone novel. I like the topics this author chose for her stories. They are almost unique, at least for me! This one is about two sisters ripped apart by the justice system. One stands as the accused and the other as the victim. Martha’s 8-week-old baby girl died while her sister was in charge of her. So the police say she is guilty but Martha doesn’t know what to think, doesn’t know to support her sister or seek justice for her child. This is not quite an easy read and it’s not for everyone! It’s a slow-paced thriller with short chapters. Not much happened and it dragged a bit. My only issue is that I guessed it early on. All in all, it was a good read, and hope you enjoy it as well! ...more

Told in multiple POV, both in 1st & 3rd person, it’s the third installment in the "Raw Family" series and should be read in order. This is much better than the other two previous books in the series and I enjoyed it much more. This series is not for everyone. It’s dark, dirty, and messed up. As Twitch is the same as before but Lexi has changed. She is stronger, and more mature. After all, she has a kid to protect even from his own father. I liked Lexi’s character more here. Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the second installment in the "Criminals & Captives" series with characters’ crossover and can be read as a standalone but I think if you read it in order you’d enjoy it more. The story contains dark elements but not as dark as I’d prefer and the romance between the MCs is a bit rushed toward the ending (IMO). Connecting with the MCs was hard for me here! Although it didn’t live up to my expectations, it was a nice story and I hope you enjoy it more than me!...more

"Roses of crimson Skies of blue Nature’s beauty has got nothing on you. Do you know how you affect me? I don’t think you do. If given the chance, I think I could love you."
Poppy is a twenty-four-year-old single mother to a seven-year-old boy. Her ex dumped her for another girl. So she went to a house party to find another guy and get over her ex (her friend advice) but what she saw was her ex with his new girl, showing off! Well,
"What’s that saying … Don’t get mad, get even?"
With a quick search around herself, she found the perfect, handsome, sexy guy she ever saw! And without knowing that he is her new adviser in the university, they kissed each other!
It’s a sweet story with likable characters, not just main characters I liked the secondary ones too! I liked how Zach cared about Poppy and didn’t push her to do whatever he wants! And he didn’t let himself stop helping with her study just because he was attracted to her and she wasn’t ready to accept that! Poopy was so young when she had her son but she’s so strong, being a young mom, have a job and studding for you’re dream job, it’s a bit scary! I admire her! my only complaint was the slowness, it was a bit slow for my taste!
Told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s a standalone novel and really well-written! Overall, I enjoyed it and hope you like it as well!

Told mostly in single POV, 1st person, it’s a standalone novel. My major problem with this story was that it didn’t wow me. It was predictable. It was like the author tried so hard to cover it up. Told in single POV, 1st person, it can be read as a standalone. This story wasn’t bad at all but there was something missing here. Maybe it was because of the subject matter I expected it to be an emotional read but I couldn’t feel it the way I should! Told in multiple POV, 1st person, it’s a standalone novel. Compared with other books I’ve read by this author this one is my favorite so far. The main character is the most unlikeable one, as much as I wanted to strangle her or slap her most of the time. She is a psychopath, a selfish woman who only sees herself and puts her own needs beyond others, and doesn’t think or care about anyone else. And that is what is so intriguing and made me enjoy it! She could manipulate everyone to get what she wanted without thinking or any care about the consequences! I don’t know why I waited so long to read it. I was captivated from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. It’s well-written and for the ending, I think it was the perfect one for the story. Overall, I had fun reading it and hope you enjoy it as well!...more
