But when he loves, he loves wholeheartedly, unconditionally and without limits. Josie graduated university but is floating around in life. Granted she’s only twenty-two. But she has no real goals. Her home life is also a bit toxic. I adored Dane the moment he is introduced. I knew there was so much more to him than what meets the eye. Josie I had mixed feelings about. But towards the end she won me over. These two have a tense and complicated relationship. But the one thing there is no doubt about is their chemistry. They are absolutely hot and steamy together. They have this magnetic pull for one another. They “feel” each other. Whether it’s one of them walking into a crowded room or the energy of the other is off. They are absolutely aware of one another. I loved that about them. The story is a bit emotional at times. And I wanted to just give Josie a big hug. I loved the epilogue. ❤️

The action and suspense going on was thrilling and had me on the edge of my seat and my heart thumping wildly. The story is intense and a roller coaster of a ride of emotions and feelings. An absolutely unforgettable story, with remarkable characters. It’s dark and utterly intense. Parts are absolutely crushing. But it’s a love story of epic preportions. This story is very dark and the author doesn’t hold back. Marcello is a very complex character. He is multilayered. As each layer is peeled back and revealed it’s more shocking than the previous revelation. It’s twisted and dark. It’s gut wrenching and soul crushing. Catalina is such a sweet young lady. Her soul is filled with kindness and compassion. Which shines through on the outside just as it does on the inside. Life has dealt her a cruel fate. But it never crushed her soul. I admired her immensely. The dynamics between Lina and Marcello is intense. I could feel their energy and emotions come to life off the pages. Just when they think things are somewhat settling down. They get hit with another an imaginable destructive attack. And the past is about to come colliding full force into their present. Leaving in its wake devastating and terrifying results.
