You get chased by a werewolf just to find out that he wants you to throw his tennis ball. Malcom, the vampire, is a tusked boar, and his 'undead minions' are strips of bacon, which is just plain funny. The book ends with a hint that the sequel is going to tackle Frankenstein next....more

There were two gripes I had about this. 1) It's established that Echo is deaf and uses assistive technology on the phone and is a world class lip-reader, but there are some scenes where Echo responds to Marc, but the layout has her facing away from him, or in a position that you wouldn't think she'd be able to lip read from. Other than that, they did a good job of it, I thought. 2) IRREGARDLESS ISN'T A WORD! Regardless mean's 'without regard', you don't need another negative!...more
