The ending - wow it leaves you hanging but does end at a great moment that is not too traumatic. I can cope with the waiting a month and have already pre-ordered. This author is such a favourite of mine, she knows how to write great mob romance with darkness but also lots of redemption and love also thrown into the mix. I love a great hero and I think Stefan has that in him.
Gabi's family history has such sadness and I feel truly lost for her. I really think she is going to change in the next book and I cannot wait to see her take back control of her life.
Cannot wait to see what the author has in store for these two characters.

So no judgements, I saw this in Kindle unlimited and downloaded thinking if I did not like it would just put it back. Well I devoured It !! Though it started off a bit out there with their first interaction and Emma losing her virginity without question by Dimitri - I soon was hooked with how the alpha brute won the heart of the meek librarian.
I will be reading this story again when I simply need to escape to the romance world....more

This book is a standalone however I highly recommend reading book 1 first to understand all the characters. This book does cover periods of time from Book 1 where it then transitions to its own story.
Lots of action, drama but great chemistry between the two main characters and I also loved seeing more of Harrison. Detective Stone was an interesting character who developed more in this story and made more sense.

The mafia connections and back story of familia I simply loved. All the double crossing and five families playing their part.
Mari and Capo have a love story that is so worth the hurt and despair. Mari is ferocious in her love and loyalty. Capo is so protective and when their love passionatley collides you will not be disapponted.
For one a story gives us a fantastic finish, the ending is simply perfect, all my questions answered but we also delve into the next story being Marauder which is the love story for her friend Keely and the mysterious Cash Kelly....more

This was an easy read, kept me turning the pages that I devoured over a weekend. Story flows well and has great characters that I think have more secrets than even I could figure out. This is going to be a good series.
Alaina was a beautiful and strong character, her relationship with her cousins brought humour but also provided back story to the mystery that is her family. What is her mother's end game - I do not get which makes me so want to read the next story and don't get me started on the step dad??...more

I was beside myself to read Danilo's story and I truly loved Sofia. This story connected all the long answered dots after reading the above two books. I was glad the Author gave us a love story and no real Mob danger or drama, these two characters have experienced enough in other books in the series so I simply devoured this romance, a tough road but so worth it.
Can I say I am drying to read Danilo's sisters story, I do hope that is going to happen.
I really love this Mob world the author has created, so many strong Male and Female characters.

It had so much drama and all the secrets and stories entwined to answer so many questions from Nero and Vincent's stories. This was so good and I am glad I read Nero and Vincent's stories now as Lucca's just added so much depth.
Lucca was a character who intrigued me from Book 1 and it just developed.
Chloe was such a strong defiant character even though this was not always portrayed, you could tell she had strenght after the traumatic event that happened.
I loved the tenderness that Lucca showed to Chloe, his cooking and gardening just gave him the layer of softness that you knew Chloe needed. He could compartmentalise so well.
Lake and Vincent's love story has lots of ups and down and young drama. Whilst I enjoyed this I must admit I did read this for the aim to get to LuccaLake and Vincent's love story has lots of ups and down and young drama. I am glad I did read this, don't get me wrong, I just found Vincent probably a little immature. Nero and Lucca are definately more Alpha and you can see who is soldier material.

In saying that it covers some serious bullying which I did struggle with at times as to how the adults did not catch up to this. Elle really cops it throughout but rest assured Nero becomes her Hero!
Elle and Nero had great chemisty for a young romance and the guys are all typical Mafia types. Who I did really like was Nero's older brother Lucca - wow he kept me hanging in there and to find out his story is in the series, well I am now reading book 2.
Chloe and Lucca have a connection and am dying to know her story of her scars, considering her dad is the mayor.
Set amongst their last 6 months of senior school it has all the typical young drama but again I was in the right frame of mind to enjoying some light reading. ...more

I have already pre-ordered Dream Chaser which is Ryn's story who I love. I am so happy to have a new series from this author to love!
Now first off, for those who have read alot of this authors work you will know she loves to really discuss and explain a scene or moment and she can talk about things such as rugs, furniture and kitchen appliances like no other.
This is the first book of hers that has flowed for me without all the extra baggage of descriptions. Dont get me wrong I love those about her but this story did not need it, Mag and Evie was told perfectly and it did not need all the KA fluff. We got action, drama, seduction, romance and humour. Evie was such a cool character and perfect for Mag.
I have a feeling this series could bump my three favourites of hers that I re read endlessly being Colarado Mountain, Dream Man and Magdalene.

I did not like Gemma until towards the end, this story did not get going for me until the event in her family restaurant. This is when we finally get emotion from Savio and some sort of love for Gemma.
I could not figure out how these two were going to connect on an emotional level and struggled with the first half of the story as Gemma was so young and naive.
I think it was her family and how strict they were with her and yet her brother was allowed to do as he wishes, they were very old fashioned.

This is a standalone that does introduce characters from The Camorra Chronicles and Born in Blook Mafia Chronicles. Do you have to read them first? I do not think so as really not much is revealed that would ruin starting the other two series. I love Cora's mafia stories, they have sweetness but also some edge.
This was definitely more light on, it concentrated more of the romance of Giulia and Cassio. Whilst the age difference was slightly odd, it did not bother me. I mean she was promised to another before his untimely death so she knew at 18 she would be married off.
The children were my favourite part of this entire story and how Giulia repaired their hearts and made them all a family including LouLou the dog!

The banter with each other and immense fight or flight scenarios had me on the edge of my seat at so many moments.
Their physical connection is hot, heavy and hits all the right spots.
So the next book is not available, whilst this does not end at a cliffhanger it does end at a moment where you will be like - doh I am not ready - I need more of Michael!! What is the issue with water? What is the issue from the party? Too many questions.
This has lots of mystery, drama, angst but also a bit of romance, there is a slow burn and considering this book is only over a short time it makes sense.

Malcolm was a strong alpha male at the start and then he kind of lost his darkness and became a bit soft towards the ending. For a ruthless drug dealer leading his group of friends it just left me a little confused with how his personality just changed midstream.
